[KR861] Keiser Report: Bonfire of Misallocated Capital

We discuss the bonfire of the misallocated capital as everything from the S&P 500 to China’s Producer Price Index to South Africa’s rand signal a deflationary collapse. In the second half, Max interviews Lee Adler of WallStreetExaminer.com about distribution taking place in the stock market and why the IPO of Saudi Aramco could pull even more cash out of the economy.

Of course. Why not.

That’ll keep you happy Yo; whatever works for you.

  27. YoLithos says:

Funny. The price of meat in Brasil set to rise because of grain shortage due to increased exports because of the devalued currency. No indication of who’s buying. Or, more importantly, why. The almost cerimonially appointed buyer would be the US commodities market. The present day usual suspect would be China. But many other possibilities could be envisioned.

On that note, had a piece of propaganda thrown my way about how a kilogram of corn in Syria was going for US$250. Dragging a caboose about how it was due to (that terrible) Assad blockading the poor stranded people there and leaving them abandoned to their miserable fate. That was curious, since it came from so far away from those usual concerns. Possibly mixed in with the local neocon destabilization media outwash, somehow. Probably along the Millenium, Birch, Singer, Koch, and cronies stink tank media and ‘leadership’ ratlines.

  28. ronron says:

@Poopy. ha. a rag is handy.

  29. poopysnot says:

@ronron re: “i have land in the mountains with quarter horses.”

..nice, I haven’t ridden since years. sounds wonderful. I worked on a ranch digging post holes, bailing hay, before I was old enough to put a saddle on one. We had just over 300 head. Was awesome to watch them running up the steep hills from the stables to pastures on the other side at the end of the day. The dust..

Not sure how I would fair on one now, like I said, been years

  30. ronron says:

@Poopy. i love when my mare goes into a dead run. she is fast and knows you on top. she is sweet.

@Flopot. i stand on the srtipups when she runs hard. i sent snoot a pony,

  33. ronron says:

@Flopot. really? why would anyone be insulted by someone on the net they will never meet or know? safe spots?

And getting to know each other.

yeah, when they hit their stride its like floating 😉

@Flopot. the pork chop is in ozz. just saying,

  39. Flopot says:

What about the guy who insulted your loved one? He was a stranger; you probably would never have met him again; and yet his insult burned in you and you had to act.

Words are acts and have the same physical effect..affect in zee mind.

  40. ronron says:

Trying to imagine the US National Guard attemptimg to sieve the lead out of the water in Flint. Or subdue it with batons. Shoot it into submission? Considering the Katrina example.

The troops would never be there to suppress popular protest against the very ‘authorities’ that betrayed what little trust the people still have enjoyed, and irrevocably crippled the people’s children and grandchildren by poisoning them, would they? Of course not! Ôo I’m surprised that there were any to spare from all the overseas interventions and such.

China Launches Interbank Gold Trading System (video)

China has launched interbank gold trading at the beginning of this year, in an effort to open up the country’s bullion market. The trading mechanism is introduced by Shanghai Gold Exchange and the China Foreign Exchange Trading System.

It is aimed to boost liquidity of interbank gold trading, and promote market making. Ten banks including China’s big four banks a local branch of Australia and New Zealand Banking Group ANZ will act as first-tier market makers. Another six smaller Chinese banks are listed as second-tier market-makers.

Before the new mechanism, banks were not allowed to trade gold with each other and could only buy the precious metal through the Shanghai Gold Exchange, which is the world’s biggest physical trading platform for the metal.

    Ghost economies.
Market virtualization, modern technology, online contact and negotiation, and direct transportation from source to destination have dispelled most of the necessity for centralized physical commodity exchanges and processing hubs. Banking included. Even in the old central US commodity hub markets. Cities have to find new jobs. Or move out.
