Mike is a slick salesman and does one hell of a slick presentation.
    thanks @Stacy.
lol at what he’s wearing at the pyramids, looks like a Nazi sympathiser and co-conspirator from an Indiana Jones film.

This is an excellent little video. A good one with which to wake up the sleeping masses of asses and all the sheeple people.

  5. Hapa says:

Great video, entertaining…….one that your sheeple friends might engage with…

  6. Hopeless American says:

Yes, agree with comments above, excellent video to send to the sheeple.

I love everything about it. The fireside chat, the trip to Egypt, the comment about fiat being latin for crappy car at the end. Excellent entertainment.

Somehow, this will still gloss over 99.9% of the masses.

Check out the film/book “Momo” from Michael Ende … all about “Time and Money”

…. In the ruins of an amphitheatre just outside an unnamed Italian city lives Momo, a little girl of mysterious origin. She is remarkable in the neighbourhood because she has the extraordinary ability to listen — really listen. By simply being with people and listening to them, she can help them find answers to their problems,…

…. Gradually, the sinister influence of the Men in Grey affects the whole city: life becomes sterile, devoid of all things considered time-wasting, like social activities, recreation, art, imagination, or sleeping….

Sort of a modern parallel to The Wizard of Oz.

Excellent presentation from Mike … well done.

Griffins part was very important IMO.

    Puru Saxena says:
“Looking at precious metals, it is becoming clear to us that both gold and silver put in major tops in 2011 and the onus now lies on the bulls to reverse the downtrend. As you will recall, we sold our positions last spring and since then, our advice has been to avoid this sector. Whichever way you cut it, the reality is that the price action in both gold and silver has been extremely disappointing and despite the ongoing QE-ternity, the selling pressure has overwhelmed the buyers! Look. If you review the price charts objectively, you will note that both gold and silver have formed a series of declining tops and they are currently trading well below the 200-day moving average. Needless to say, such price action is bearish and in our view, there is now a real risk that the prices of both gold and silver will fall below last summer’s lows. If that happens, the secular bull-market will be over and prices will probably drift lower for several years.”

What’s the general view on this?

  13. Bruce says:

    Nice little vid.
Mogambo Guru makes an appearance. He’s always great.

  14. Bruce says:

    D’oh. Pressed Enter too early.

Max makes a classic Fiat joke.
Mike rides a camel. I notice he feels no need to wear a tie, which is choice.
Mr Deepthroat (silver guru) does his thing.
    Rickards comes on.

    The usual suspects.

I reckon the ‘ultimate’ money is one we decide amongst ourselves rather than the recycled old ways for the new ages. You will still be cheated as long as your masters are making up the rules as to what you can and can’t use.

Your true wealth is your time and freedom.
Best investment you can make = educate yourself.

    A+ on that.

  15. Richie Rich says:

Excellent, I can’t wait to see the rest of this series. Really enjoyed that and loved his ability to simplify things – even though we all know it, it’s nice to hear it delivered so well. First words of the video – your true wealth is your time and freedom. Hats off to Mike Maloney.

  16. Disgusted of Tunbridge Wells says:

    Schools need to show this.

  17. maxamillion says:

To hell with the schools, parents need to show it to their kids and be responsible for what their kids learn. If schools showed this, they’d edit it and have it sponsored by a bank who would be oh so happy to donate to the school for a new playground, and hey kids, while we are at it…let’s sign you up for a savings account! and…..it’s gone!

  18. Bruce says:

    maxamillion, good one.
Parents taking control from the State. Sounds good to me.
