    Id like to know the theory behind the Episode 4xx set change! Seems to reflect a higher level of professionalism? Previous set seems very desolate by comparison, this one is cozy.

    Perhaps influenced by Max’s recent appearances on BBCDP

    Political / Economic stability leads to entrenched power, which leads to corruption in its various forms, which leads to break down. The breakdown comes in many forms, some of which has been branded terrorism. Look to the corruption in the entrenched elites to solve break down issues: this will not happen the elite are not going to procecute themselves.
    So expect more break down. Simple really.

    I thought Sen Grassley’s Q’s to the DOJ asking how much they paid outside advisers to tell them it would be an econ disaster if they charged a bank executive with criminal fraud- was epic.

    That letter was a direct result of the Frotnline film The Untouchables – that I was in.

    Then there is this .. Foreign Policy Magazine did a huge investigative effort on Obama Administration setting up a false flag chemical ‘attack’ through British company Bitram .. that was approached by the administration to provide the canister.. thanks to a hacker who provided the details if they do not impeach that war monger ahole now . they never will. http://www.westernjournalism.com/obama-accused-of-staging-a-chemical-weapons-attack/

    Foreign Policy magazine did an amazing bit of investigative reporting two weeks ago. They got the Obama administration to leak a classified cable—marked as “secret”—describing how Syrian dictator Bashar Assad had lobbed a chemical weapon on his own people in the city of Homs—murdering five and sickening dozens. They got the Obama administration to “anonymously” comment on the cable, giving extensive details about how the information was gathered, what group put together the information, and even pried from the mouth of the beast that the information came from a State Department-funded group called BASMA, which oddly doesn’t seem to exist. Also oddly, the mysterious chemical weapon canister that was lobbed into the city doesn’t seem to exist either.”””””””””””

    Lo and behold, on January 28, it was revealed through a huge document dump from a hacker based in Malaysia that the UK-based mega defense contractor Britam was approached about lobbing a chemical weapon in Homs, blaming it on Assad, and scapegoating the Russians for delivering the canister.

    The plan was “approved by Washington.” Yes, that means Barack Obama was in on it.

    Among the hacked Britam documents were copies of passports of the mercenaries who planned on carrying out the proposed attack; but the key document is an email between Britam director David Goulding and the company’s founder, Philip Doughty.

    The only nitpick I have is this the mis-use of the perjorative term “Keynesian”.
    The situation today is light years away from anything Keynes would recognize. Neo-classical, neoliberal, mainstream, “Austrian” (or whatever label we call it) no longer applies. The rule of law is dead, neoclassical theory is invalid (including so-called Keynesian and Austrian versions).

    John Maynard Keynes, David Ricardo, Thorsten Veblen, Karl Marx, Joseph Schumpeter, John Kenneth Galbraith et. al …….. would not even recognize the economic situation if they were alive today. They would be absolutely gobsmacked and speechless in disbelief. That is how bad it is.

    From Wiki…just to be clear;
    “The parable of the broken window was introduced by Frédéric Bastiat in his 1850 essay Ce qu’on voit et ce qu’on ne voit pas (That Which Is Seen and That Which Is Unseen) to illustrate why destruction, and the money spent to recover from destruction, is actually not a net-benefit to society. The parable, also known as the broken window fallacy or glazier’s fallacy, demonstrates how opportunity costs, as well as the law of unintended consequences, affect economic activity in ways that are “unseen” or ignored.”

    The Keynesian argument is to get with your inner terrorist to ruin and destroy in order to improve the world, while the Austrians would argue Bastiats point about that which is unseen, the unintended consequences…..
