    One thing I LOVE about MAX .. he can GET beyond looking through his PARTISAN bifocals and see the reality. By the way Max .. you must be making an indent .. a lot of trolls commenting .. IN any event .. LONG live Santelli and Max .. I do not always agree with them but their passion and insight is BETTER than any other ‘business’ punditry or the trolls upset when someone shows PASSION on the criminality and stupidity of the CURRENT system.
    Now onto business …… Rick Santelli rocks. Scripted outrage.. looking at the comments from various posters .. I have to laugh . scripted stupidity .. the only one making SENSE is Santelli . .. some of the posts make . as usual.. all this a partisan issue . when it’s an ISSUE that goes beyond parties or who is in office at any given moment. This goes BACK DECADES.. at least to the 70s .. as our economic system went from being producer saver REAL investor to Las Vegas on STEROIDS.. as the Middle Class was thrown UNDER the bus. The silliness of partisan group think boggles what is left of my mind. If YOU are making this about rotten OBAMA administration policy . you are a NITWIT. As some comments on the Holtz blog reveal .. they have indeed made this a partisan issue and it boils down to ‘well what about Bush’ .. NEVER mind BUSH you can go back to CARTER to find out when it started to go to hell in a hand basket with DEREGULATION of any IMPORT that.. as REGULATIONS are now written by the Wall STreet and political CARTELS. IN any event, the day Paul Volcker claimed ‘American’s standard of living would have to decrease so the rest of the world could rise’ .. THAT was a shot across the bow by the powers that BE. It told me the Middle Class could pound sand . and at that point we became a financialized monetized paper shuffling creator of weapons of mass destruction .. subject to defending crazy credit policies and creation of things like the deriviatives bomb .. and BUBBLE economy .. whether it was mergers and acquisitions during Reagan or the public private partnerships under Bush I or the LUNATIC creepy policies of Bill Clinton .. who gave us the BALKAN war . the MOST insane war of all time . who gave us NAFTA, MFN or China and ended Glass Steagal and other protections we had from crazy bankers.. who decided to CHANGE how inflation was figured.. who promoted the bubble economics .. Clinton did and Bush just made it worse.. and Obama . he is so clueless .. I hope the smug assholes who blog end up living under a bridge eating dog food.. because their blindness and blind partisanship or being STUCK in some ancient economic philosophy they TWISTED to suit themselves .. is a BIG part of our economic, political and social problem. I could care less about the BIG Wall Street oligarchs or transnationals . or financial institutions.. or either party . I DO care about small business and the Middle Class which the elites have destroyed and continue to destroy. Santell’s rants are refreshing . it shows there is LIFE OUT THERE and this nation’s people are not just bunch of toadies croaking agreement in their scummy pond in New York, Conn. or Palm Beach or wherever the trolls of corporate state business reside.

    What a stupid comment; they are still based on sound and unsound practices, which was his point.

    CNBC = Can Not Be Correct
    The host and guests they have on are mere caricatures of people and the interviews are set-up in a way as to have one side heavily outweighing the other, making the other side look stupid or wrong. The host smiles away, calmly talking bullshit.

    The viewers, apparently, love the calm caricatures and their calmness indicates correctness, apparently.

    It shows nothing of the sort you sad, naive, twat. But I bet you an oz of silver that when they finish these ‘spontaneous segments’ they are looking for exactly the type of reaction you just gave.

    It’s like Pavlov’s dog with you Yanks: salivate on cue. Pathetic.

  5. PragLib says:

    @Gregors – I don’t think Santelli was acting if that’s what you are implying. He seemed genuinely pissed off. You can also see notable discomfort from the other panelists. Also, it’s a total twat move to call people twats on the Keiser forums when you have no real substance.

    I think Max should have Santelli on his show some time…. but then that’s one of the top ways to lose your job ;)

  6. Gregers Werle says:

    @PragLib

    Their ratings are what matter to them, even if that means some fake outrage, scripted dissent. It’s incredible that people think that if someone airs their own personal opinion on television then that must mean that somehow their ‘voice’ is being heard and represented in the ‘larger’ political sphere. All that makes a person feel warm and comfy, sure. Good enough to continue their mind numbing banality online and in actual life.

    Don’t be a twat, stop looking for TV personalities to channel your rage and impotence.
