Reading the Weapons Act, the people of Germany have quite a exceptional plan in place, very effective.
    I focused in on section 1, subsection 2, parts 4 through 9.

Imo the US needs to tighten up gun ownership prerequisites.

well nice to see that nothing changes around here ,when people rip your “best” arguments to shreads leavng you no way to refute them ,you wander off all over the godamn place tryng weaker and increasingly PONITLESS ones untill the conection is SO vague that everyone quits comenting and then you claim to have made yout point…….. so in that vien: “germany” has never declared WAR on its own population where as the US has as POLICY and on several fronts placing “we the people” on a perpetual war footing sence the late 1800s , apples to your oranges

gun control is about control of the law abiding and NO one in that group wants convicted crimnals to own weapons but we KNOW that they CAN get them, no matter what ANYONE wants and the FACT is that in spite of all protestations to the contrary once you PSYCOS take the guns you take ALL weapons and once you have us ALL stirped to bare nuckels you DEMAND that the VICTIMS either submit or flee , and if they put up any sort of resistance you try to convict THEM of a CRIME and alot of the time do so , self defence is INSTINCT it is not even a choice any more than BREATHING and YOU people want to lock the VICTIMS up for it YOUR ALL INSANE !

@David Liberty, and yet it failed to prevent the Erfurt school massacre in April 2002.

And yet Max STILL insists on having the ‘gummint’ being the sole possessors of the heinous firearm and the rest of we should all just ‘HOPE’ that things will ‘CHANGE’.
Love ya Max, but even you are dead, fuckin’ wrong every once in a while. We know that in your past life you were a lying, theiving ‘brok-ster’ and that you can speak with great authority as to that and we thank you for that and for your reformation.
By the by, all that carbon that you’re ascared of originally came FROM the air, and will CONTINUE to move BACK and FORTH from the air to the earth for the rest of eternity whether man exists or not. It’s a little thing we like to call the ‘carbon cycle’.

please change your moniker to “davd sheeple” or quit besmirching the term “liberty” ty.

DC has the tightest gun laws in the country and EVEN cnn flouts them gun control is about YOU not having a gun NOT about protectng YOU from crimnals

It sounds like it is time to disarm the police. It is clear from the UK example that banning guns does not lead to less violence if their bobbies now have to carry weapons whereas before the ban, they did not. To confuse guns with violence is missing the root cause of societal breakdown. Removing liberty through more laws doesn’t make people more free. There are already many appropriate ‘gun control laws’ on the books. They are the existing laws against murder, assault, and robbery.

The result of Britain’s gun control laws: A WARNING TO US!

Although I tend to agree with much of what Chris Hedges says about violence, the violence of the state will not be stopped except by threat of violence. To deprive a citizen of arms is to guarantee his submission to the state. Gandhi recognized this.

“Among the many misdeeds of the British rule in India, history will look upon the act of depriving a whole nation of arms, as the blackest.” – Gandhi, An Autobiography, p. 446 (Beacon Press paperback edition)

Noam Chomsky recognized that violence can be legitimate in the case of great evil. The question then becomes, are the citizens (American consumers) a greater evil than the U.S. government which is trying to protect them from themselves?

“So I can’t accept a general and absolute opposition to violence, only that resort to violence is illegitimate unless the consequences are to eliminate a greater evil. ”

The Legitimacy of Violence as a Political Act?

I expect that there is not much less violence overall in Germany, or any other nation, than in the United States.

According to police statistics for 2010, there were some 319 cases of dangerous and severe bodily injury for every 100,000 residents.” … “By contrast, the 2010 rate for the entire US stands at 403.6 violent crimes per 100,000 residents.

A Violent Crime Problem Grows in Berlin

The second amendment is to protect us from the tyranny of government. The number of people killed by guns, given the number of guns that exist in the U.S. is small compared to the number of deaths by other forms of government/corporate crime such as prescription ‘medication’, endless wars, and other forms of institutional violence within the society.

In the U.S., the basis of gun ownership has become more symbolic than real and is reflective of the burden of militarism. We have already surrendered our freedom through our ignorance and inaction, as well as the subterfuge of state and financial institutions. A nation that spends $696 billion on its military and trillions more on its financial institutions is now turning its attention on its own population as ‘potential terrorists’ and deadbeats. It needs to disarm its citizens in order to enable a corporatist police state. With the recent purchases of 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition by non-military agencies, disarming the citizens is the logical objective whether by law or by force.

To advocate disarming of American citizens is to legitimate their government as an irrevocable entity that will enable banks to force austerity and payment through the government. It may be that there is no longer the hardened independence and will within the American people to live and be free people. Having become so dependent on the government, perhaps giving up their guns to the fatherland is the best way since many surely can’t survive outside the state architecture.

‘Sandy Hook massacre: Official story spins out of control’

“This logically tells us that the real perpetrators are being protected with cover stories of what really happened because if the truth were known, some section of the U.S. government would be implicated.”

“…and the media focusing the emotional outcry onto the hot-button topic of gun control…I’m left wondering if this was actually the work of some highly trained professional hit team?”

‘Was the massacre at Sandy Hook elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut, a psy-op, using what amounts to a ‘death squad’ and a carefully planned mission to terrorise people on behalf of the government, in combination with perception management to shape the narrative and vector the emotional fallout?”

Did Sandy Hook’s Emilie Parker Have a Twin Sister?

The John Moore show said that one child had 11 bullet wounds and that #4 buckshot could do that with one shot from a shotgun. Have you heard any media reports of a shot gun at the scene? Maybe ‘shot gun’ doesn’t fit their government provided MSM talking points?

  9. David Liberty says:

Americans will never give up, even though people know its over. Just going to try and survive imo.

  10. Jayme says:

The state must find ‘problems’ to justify it’s budget expenditures or its budgets get cut. Busy work for this apparatus consists of a building paranoia that sees criminals in harmless citizens and causes these organizations to invent false flag operations such as fake bombs and fake terrorists. Their budget’s are probably justifiable if these officers were going after the financial criminals. Plenty of law enforcement work there but this cannot be allowed because it is against the interests of the financiers who have placed themselves above the law.

    FBI labels Occupiers “domestic terrorists”

I don’t think sane people are safer with fewer guns when the system as a whole is fundamentally insane and can get all the guns it wants and can do so without account to the people.
