U.S. Regulators fine First Bank of Delaware http://www.marketwatch.com/story/us-regulators-fine-first-bank-of-delaware-2012-11-19

U.S. regulators Monday issued $15 million in penalties against First Bank of Delaware for violations of anti-money laundering rules.

“To make money, First Bank of Delaware entered into risky lines of business and chose to disregard its Bank Secrecy Act responsibilities,” said Jennifer Shasky Calvery, director of the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, the government agency that coordinates anti-money laundering policies.

FinCen and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. said that the bank failed to implement an effective anti-money laundering compliance program and failed to adequately oversee third-party payment processor relationships.

“As a result of its failure to implement systems and controls to identify and report suspicious activities, as required by the BSA, financial predators were able to victimize consumers,” Ms. Shasky said.

Cliffs Natural to delay Quebec mine expansion http://www.marketwatch.com/story/cliffs-natural-to-delay-quebec-mine-expansion-2012-11-19

Cliffs Natural Resources Inc. CLF -0.11% said it will delay portions of the Bloom Lake mining project expansion in Quebec and idle some production at two U.S. iron-ore operations, as the company aims to align its business with weaker demand for coal used in steelmaking.

The coal and iron-ore producer’s earnings soared throughout 2010 and most of last year, boosted by increased sales volume and prices. But the company has more recently suffered declines in profit amid weaker prices and higher costs.

Spain bad debts at banks reach record in September http://www.marketwatch.com/story/spain-bad-debts-at-banks-reach-record-in-september-2012-11-19

Bad debts held by Spanish banks rose to their highest level on record in September. Non-performing loans grew by over €3 billion ($3.8 billion) to €182.3 billion, or 10.7% of total outstanding loans.

In September, total loans inched higher on the month to €1.7 trillion–or around 170% of Spain’s GDP–but they remain well below their all-time high of more than €1.8 trillion hit at the peak of Spain’s property bubble in 2008.

Why is it that this doesn’t comfort me at all?… LOlz ;)

Germany is still ruled by the USA.
Problem is that the USA took many nazi people into their army, for example with
    operation paperclip.

Never quite understood how the same multinationals who were guilty during the war still operate today.

    IG Farben for example.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IG_Farben

I guess it is not a matter of one country against another but more about
fighting fascism & nazi’s where-ever & whatever nationality they might be.

Germany is still ruled by the USA

that was my point …………. and is probly the cause of the resentment in the first place.

  9. kdt says:

    @microhousehold
ps the ‘game’ i referred to goes back way further than the advent of fascism / national socialism in fact my german ancestor was sent to america to live with relitives beaus his famly felt that he would not survive the manditory conscription and training that was being required by the newly formed german state along side the prussian schooling/indoctrination that had been shoved down the populations throat.

that intire system from the systematic bullying of children in the indoctrination prosess to exactly how many people would need to be put in prison as a result being redused in there ability to reason by having been run through it was imported to the usa by our “elites” who felt that 1) this was the “new world order” and 2) that if they were not driving that vehicle we would all get run over by it…………….they were not “wrong” as history shows how close run that race ended up being BUT that did not change the reality that the “prussian system/MIC” is a PONZI scheme and to make matters worse the “dumbing down” of the general population resulted in the dumbing down of the ENTIRE population as a whole and in fact the “elites” have actully goten “dumber” than the general population at this point, as poorer people need to adapt to survive more than “elites” and there for poor people that stupid DIE so natural selection raises there avrage IQ ever so slightly……………imean REALY who is atually stupider the “obama phone lady” or obama for thinking entitling people will result in a productive econimy? my money is on obama as the phone lady is just taking a a give away and who turns down free stuff?

  10. Wolferl says:

    @ Kdt

The German Reich from 1870 till 1918 has been the global center of international science. Just look at the list of nobel price winners in the first 30 years of that price. So much for the “Prussian system” (whatever that means, lol) is making the people dumber. Actually the ideal of a German education since more than 200 years is a extremly broad education of everyone, since this is the base of the success of a society. And the core of the German economy never was a MIC but the German “Mittelstand”, many many medium size companies that never had something to do with the military besides the times of war. You have no clue about Germany now or in the past, you are just repeating some stupid scribbel and propaganda you red somewhere.
