Keiser Report: Bankstatocracy

We discuss the bankstatocracy that has led to what the mainstream financial media calls an ‘unintended’ wealth gap in the consumer sector – between those recovered-from-recession and those still-struggling. To suggest that this gap is intentional, however, is considered now ‘suspicious’ behavior by the US government. And they also look at the ‘wealth managers’ for the poor in Australia. In the second half of the show, Max Keiser talks to privacy extremist Frank Braun about sneaker net and privacy, the libertarian case for bitcoin and a flourishing over the counter bitcoin exchange.

    Politico excerpt:

“Though Ryan had already decided to distance himself from the floundering Romney campaign, he now feels totally uninhibited. Reportedly, he has been marching around his campaign bus, saying things like, “If Stench calls, take a message” and “Tell Stench I’m having finger sandwiches with Peggy Noonan and will text him later.”

Todd had, you see, been assigned by former National Security Advisor and Secretary of State, Condi Rice, to work with the FBI in order to eliminate spy organizations working within the White House. What she and the FBI learned brought about the arrest of a number of high officials.”

    Drone madness..

Army Wants Tiny Suicidal Drone to Kill From Six Miles Away

This is soooooo funny. These are model airplanes with small bombs on them.

Does the Pentagon really think that they will use these somewhere in the world, and some terrorist group or small country can’t mass produce the same kind of weapon, and release them inside the U.S.?

    How stupid.

But it will relieve the U.S. population of worry when the scoundrels that make and promote this stuff start getting blowback they won’t be able to forsee or control…

We can just sit back and watch…should be quite a show.

By the way this is what blowback looks like:

Down the page, pictures of the late US Ambassador Chris Stevens gloating over tortured body of Qaddafi, and then the shot of Stevens after he got the same treatment. One terrorist against another. All cut from the same cloth, one Islamic, one educated and Western, but both with the same morality, if you can call it that.

It’s my belief that warfare is going micro and personal, and if we all just keep our heads down and stay out of it, the state and non-state terror cells will just keep taking each other out…

  33. Mark Lytle says:

I grew up in a little ‘Mafia run’ town in Pennsylvania in the ’50’s and ’60’s. If you paid no attention to the crime, it paid no attention to you. But there _was_ conflict between the families, they just left the people alone who would have no dealings with them (either side). I think this will be the way the future might look, eventually…if we can just survive the next few years of larger scale war that looks inevitable..

  38. Flopot says:

Meanwhile, Israel is continuing its ethnic cleansing of the West Bank, which would only become more intense if/when a regional war with Iran ensued. I am afraid there are no goodies and baddies in the Middle East – Bibi does not want a Palestinian state. He is as nutty in his own way as Madmood the Denier.

Regarding a jihadi attack on Jordan, who benefits? Some mysterious jihadi council that meets in a cave somewhere? Some shadowy terrorist group? The so-called jihadis that fought in Libya and are now fighting in Syria are openly backed by Western governments and Western backed dictatorships, like the Saudi’s. So for Jordan to descend into chaos plays just as much into Western hands as it does for the mad crazy Western paid and trained jihadis.

I haven’t a clue who is murdering all those civilians in Syria – I suspect the Syrian rebels as much I do the dictatorship of Assad. Do you really believe the MSM coverage that the Syrian government is resonsible for all the murders? If you paid attention to history you would realize that it is standard procedure for Western powers to destabilize regimes via proxy armies. The US has being doing this for decades in South America. Therefore I would suspect the West and the Saudis as much as Assad for the murders.

Saying that, Assad is still the asshole I hold ultimately responsible. All he had to do was step down and let the opposition have a fair shot at power. That way he could have prevented internal conflict and prevented the Western neocons and neolibs from getting a foothold in his country. Just like Qaddafi is ultimately responsible for the neoliberal experiment being conducted in Libya. Both dictators utlimately opened the door for intervention by providing propaganda gold for the war crazy Western MSM.

And this explains why hand-wringing liberals become neocons because they realize that the dictators will never step down and so they start justifying genocidal wars as moral alternatives to dictatorships. Bit of an extreme and hypocritical reaction in my opinion.

  39. Flopot says:

PS If/when the Syrian and Iranian regimes fall, I would not want to be a Saudi dictator: Kissinger supposedly warned it is fatal to be a friend of the U.S. (or the West, I would add myself) Oo

Remember Tony Blair’s friendly visits to Libya and Syria. Lol. On reflection they seem like scouting missions or sleights of hand to disarm the unsuspecting enemy. Crazy world.

PPS what happens when the Western corporations and their governments run out of dictatorships to destroy? Methinks extant democracies will suddenly be called “authoritarian regimes” by the Western MSM as a prelude to even more wars for corporate profits, e.g. Russia. Bascially, these wars are never going to end.

  40. Youri Carma says:

    @Vonda Bra

I probably don’t share his world view – Homo Homini Lupus – and don’t agree with his solutions but I do like very much to hear his insides.

    In case you missed 😉

  41. Flopot says:

PPPS I suppose the ex-liberals that become neocons experience a moment of cognitive dissonance when they realize that their own liberal democracies are just as morally culpable as the dictatorships they so abhor. It dawns on them that the Western democracies are just as murderous and all for corporate profits. Then perhaps this cognitive dissonance shifts to double think – rather than comprehending the truth they prefer to justify war as a foreign policy tool.

Or they just become cynical w**kers: they remember the apparent lesson of Thucydides that “might is right”, shrug off their liberal pretensions and dive into the warm waters of the neocon cesspool.

Or they become cynical, impotent bystanders who are all at sea!!!! <——Could be me Oo

  42. Flopot says:

PPPPS <————————This is a joke PPPPS as I realize they are getting out of hand and I am avoiding work by typing on these forums. Adios for now 😛

  43. Tamir says:

Well said. I think the most glaring example of your argument is the shameful (or should I say: shameless?) disaster in Libya.

  44. Flopot says:

Dammit, I was about to escape the clutches of the keyboard.

Yes, if these dictators really gave a s**t about their people, they would setup strong democracies (economically as well as politically, i.e. the people would share in the wealth); they would setup strong laws to prevent “foreign agents” from robbing or enslaving the people economically (i.e. to stop the neolibs and banksters from taking over) and then they would STEP DOWN.

But they don’t and so the Western liberal democracies have a field day with their MSM war mongering campaigns and the West invades another country. Now you can easily counter that such a democracy (the fantasy one that the benign dictatorship left in its place) would be labelled “communist” and then de-stabilized and invaded by the West anyway. I have no answer to that except at least the MSM would have a harder job justifying the war. But that is little comfort the millions of civilians that are killed for these corporate wars.

  45. Flopot says:

PS I am totally avoiding the subject of religion in politics. Once you add that into the mix then you really are in trouble.

  46. Michel78 says:

I want to apologize to the pigs for comparing them with zionazi’s.

  47. Danny Cunnington says:

If you want to really know what the attitude to “bringing democracy” is to western imperialist powers you only need look at a quote from Winston Churchill in the 1930s. He was talking about Haiti. “People of colour must not be allowed to form democracies”.

The first coloured people republic was Haiti which became independent from France in 1840. It was immediately hit with a huge and fraudulent foreign debt by the French regime of something like two million US Dollars. I say fraudulent because the debt was so-called compensation for France’s loss awarded by and to itself. Haiti has be under attack or colonization efforts ever since. This has become so obvious that they now use UN troops to occupy it under some fictitious peace keeping mission which is really military protection for the installed puppets to repress and control the population.

You see the same pattern everywhere and especially in the Middle East. The only actual democracy under universal suffrage is actually Hamas in the West Bank. Libya had a form of autocratic democracy known as direct democracy. This worked very well in a tribal society but that was destroyed by NATO. Syria although autocratic have moved toward democracy with a new referendum. (It only did this is response to arab spring pressure but at least it is doing it). As you can see, the NATO response is to demand regime change and end the process.

The next country there to have some sort of democracy is Iran although this is really a theocracy. It probably would have been a proper democracy by now if the mullahs hadn’t been propped up by decades of sanctions and repression by the west. The sanctions had the effect of preventing Iran from developing and modernizing. Suspiciously, these so-called mullahs were all based in exile in Paris with strong connections to the CIA. They were somehow inserted into power in Iran during the hostage crisis caused by the 1979 revolution. This fact was reported by the late Bob Chapman who knew about this on a firsthand basis.

So the reality is that the western powers or more specifically the triad consisting of nuclear armed US, UK and France have and continue to attack and repress any country with coloured people who want independence and a representative democracy.

As you can see, the first list of Middle Eastern countries with either democracy or leaning toward democracy have been declared terrorists, attacked and destroyed, are in the process of being attacked and destroyed or are being threatened with destruction for reasons that are false.

So the reality is that you have a bunch of white supremacists demanding everybody must bow to them on threat of death and destruction. They openly back repressive regimes, attack democracies or independent nations and claim that this is “Humanitarian intervention” or “spreading democracy”

The so-called “Friends of Syria” were supposed to be known as the “friends of democratic Syria” before US planners realized that the idea that Saudi Arabia would be promoting democracy was too ludicrous to have any credibility.

Israel has a democratic process but it is under a quasi apartheid system and democracies can only really be called democracies under universal suffrage. (This means all the citizens of the nation above voting age without consideration of gender or ethnicity).

There has to be access to information in order to make informed decisions. Insider trading, distortion of markets, financial interests that cause war. In the shadows of ignorance the wicked plot but the brighter the light of information, the darker the shadows of fear.

Internet security and personal privacy are antithetical to the free flow of information. At what point does the free flow of information become a violation and abuse of the individual? A government cannot plan or help anyone without good information. A corporation cannot make good we want without market surveys and understanding our intimate personal details. I don’t like the idea of being denied access to any information about anything, regardless of its nature but would like to maintain privacy. These are completely opposite, selfish views of the world. How can I spin a story and lie and cheat and steal and get paid for teaching you if I know and you don’t: if I have access to knowledge and you don’t?

I’m not so sure there should be privacy, on either the personal or the corporate and government levels: regardless of how awful some of it is. No one can make an informed decision if there is any bit of information missing. Of course then we are limited by our intellectual and physical tools in making any sense of all the information and we distort the information field to suit our biases… and around we go.
