    Stop with the clue-less non-science Max, You wouldn’t understand transpiration if it hit you in the face. ;), I’m starting to wonder if you understand mathematics’s, Fraudulent data presented as fact, as discussed in the Climate-gate emails’s. By all means dis the SUN and believe in your limited science.

  2. stacyherbert says:

    @confused – I know you think you sound extra clever, a bit above the ordinary human being, but when you use fancy words for evaporation, I can tell in which factory you were designed

  3. flicks says:

    Put it like this; oil has killed a hell of a lot of people but the sun is free, you just have to use what it gives. The problem is the money/oil incentive and psychopathic sadistic humans armed to the teeth with weaponary.
    Ed Miliband getting in on Libor to pug new banking this morning along side Ed Balls… ha! tell us how you will take away the banksters derivatives Ed, we’re all ears on that one. Glass Steagall aint enough if us lot are still on the hook; making banks small means removing derivatives from our planet.

    confused = Max James ?

  4. Rorschach's journal says:

    Dont worry confused its just that time of the year where herbert etall start bouncing off the walls because of the weather, will happen every year until the end of time. What the keisers wont tell you is they actually believe in carbon trading as a solution.

    Heres some leaking for you

  5. Rorschach's journal says:

    The shows a big disappointment. Was expecting a breakdown of the infighting going on within the british economic illuminaries. Keiser meant to be the number 1 most dangerous media commentator on economics? Would be nice if he chased down facts rather than get into existential bullshit.

  6. stacyherbert says:

    @Rorschach’s journal – what more facts do you need? We’ve been telling you for 10 frigging years, the question is . . . what are YOU doing about it? Sitting on your fat ass at home no doubt? Or are you doing nothing but looking for someone to tell you what to think and do? Time is now for existentialism. Max warned in Whitey’s Doing a Runner that you’d come running to him asking, “Max, why didn’t you warn me about this?”

  7. Youri Carma says:

    Again AGW BS.

    Max & Stacy should team up with Od Ball http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WN3HqYI7gv4

  8. Youri Carma says:

    Oddball, to be correct. http://www.youtube.com/user/believersunderground

    And I don’t mean this in a bad way cause the guy shorely has some good thinking going on but it isn’t the ridiculous small amount of CO2 around ofcourse.

    CO2 Contributed by Human Activity: 12 to 15ppmv

  9. Rorschach's journal says:

    They fight a centrally controlled economy to create a centrally controlled environment

    Gold standard would help them ya think?

    @stacey herbert Maybe you should check yourself before you jump headlong into an ignorant rant!! If you made any attempt to follow the uk news you would have noticed the timing of the “libor scandal” and “QE3” came some illuminaries claiming GlassSteagle is needed. This doesnt come from reactionaries, for me this means they plan to bring the system down sooner rather than later.
    Probably they would need to revert to some gold standard to make it look like theyre not thieves after all. Get greater lockdown control with a cash tied to the finite as opposed to cash tied to the infinite. Got a better chance at your centrally controlled environment then wont ya!! Plus youll get stinking rich in the process!!

    “Max, why didn’t you warn me about this?” Your family got rich off civil war bonds and your man is a failed comedian \ coke headed gambler of OPM. nuff said really.

  10. Youri Carma says:

    @Rorschach’s journal

    You can have a perfect legal system with all laws written down and all but if the people are corrupt you have notin!

    So regardless which system in the end it all comes down on peoples moral compass. And when that compass is off you’ve got notin.

  11. frances snoot says:

    Blah blah, blah blah, cough, blah blah, never knew, blah.

    We never knew.

    Knew what?

    We never knew the rates were rigged. We never knew the orphans were poisoned. We never knew the rivers were polluted. We never never knew.

    Aren’t you responsible?

    Then why do you draw a salary?

    I draw a salary at the behest of the billion-airs with their zeros. We talk. blah.

    Lets see: choice was to steal the orphans’ money and sell the children into slavery while poisoning their water.

    Choice was to destroy the intelligentsia of Iraq.

    Choice was to favor TBTF banks and then let those same banks own European debt through a fallacious libor-rigged ponzi and a ponce-lending facility.

    Well, you did know.

    Only followed orders.

    But you already said you didn’t know!

  12. frances snoot says:

    Let the criminals’ moral compass take them to hell. They earned the right.

  13. Youri Carma says:

    @Rorschach’s journal

    To be perfectly honest I havn’t formed an opinion about which money system would work best cause I donnow enough about it yet. History shows us that a money system based on gold works better than the other ones.

    But how to implement a Gold standard today and what does it mean? Is there still paper on top of that or do we actually have gold and silver coins on the street? I donnow …

  14. YoLithos says:

    Rorschach’s name has been claimed in vain. By a noisy parasite. Serving other parasites. Word count says it’s the same one trying to poison the Max-Stacy chemistry in the same thread.

    Natural things will happen to such a creature.

  15. Bonn says:

    There is only one sane coarse of action that has to happenDebt Write Offs of all Debt and this hasta be done through out EU and USA else they have a Chance of the EU structure collapsing…..what I feel is that they will try and re-structure the debt by writing some of it off…not all of it as should be the case. That’s the only logical Way of going about it from their perspective at least, so that they can enjoy another Term as Snobs of EU und USA.

  16. Youri Carma says:

    Maybe Max & Stacy could have some quests on who can explain us what it actually means if we go back to a gold standard.

    Because if there’s paper on top wouldn’t it still be vulnerable to fraud?

    @frances snoot

    One of the scary things about the universe …. it’s indifferent. As much I like to believe in hell I don’t count on it.

  17. Bonn says:

    if you look at it….the peek- a – boo accounting is Exactly having the same effect….the Screw up is if they announce the Write offs I think it will weaken the Euro and then probably Dollar against other currencys
    What says you Max/Stacy ??
    Am I anywhere correct in my anlayses ???

  18. flicks says:

    “noticed the timing of the “libor scandal” and “QE3″ came some illuminaries claiming GlassSteagle is needed.”

    2019 for GS – too long . yes I think you are correct; the Tories have realised they have to move on this to negate Labour. Who ever wins the next election will be the ones most perceived to be doing something about banks. But it’s a monster that could get well out of hand and change the whole UK political landscape. They had a glimpse last week and put a palimentary inquiry lid on it, It will not be enough for Brussels or the US.

    The rest of what you say is just the usual vindictive.

    Do you sing for your supper?

    What kind of question is that?

    So, sing.

    Well, it’s not a benchmark.

    No, it’s an indicator.

    What did it indicate?

    Stupidity of the losers who invested with us.

    You mean standards?

    Well, we meant to have standards. Eventually.

    When is eventually?

    Somewhere over the rainbow, bankers are true! And the dreams that we dare to dream really do come true!

    Now, that’s the tune!

    Someday I’ll wish upon a star, and wake up where the clouds are far BEHIND ME!

    You can stop now.

    Where troubles melt like lemon drops, away, among the chimney tops THAT’S WHERE YOU’LL FIND ME!

    New job as a chimney sweep? A few of your favorite things?

    Can I go home now? I’m late for tea!

  21. frances snoot says:

    Belief in hell means one gets up in the morning.

  22. @ Max ~ BRAVO! Well said at 7 minutes in, and besides climate disruption, burning oil and coal is the equivalent of using priceless antique furniture in a woodburning stove. Buckminster Fuller, Economics Warfare Director for the U.S.A. as well as his geodesic domes etc. pointed out half a century ago, that a gallon of oil would cost over a million dollars (1960’s dollars!) to reassemble from bulk purchased petro-chemical stocks. Coal is much the same, a treasure trove of valuable chemical feedstock materials.
    Now we have trashed about 50% of all global oil reserves. the rest of it is expensive to extract. and often dangerous! the BP Gulf fiasco! caused by negligent cost cutting!
    The sane alternatives have always existed, but they have been suppressed by Big Oil. who have behaved like a fat overgrown Cock Cuckoo in the nest. in the other nest is yet another fat over-fed Hen Cuckoo, No prizes for guessing the name of that over-Fed cuckoo.

  23. Youri Carma says:

    @frances snoot

    I never get up in the moring 😉 I am a night bird.

    But methaphoricaly speakin it’s my moral compass which get’s me going. I just can’t stand injustice. I was the guy on the school yard defending the schlemiel who was targeted by the school bullies.

  24. Youri Carma says:

    @frances snoot

    btw owls are night birds too.

  25. Kevin Eshbach says:

    Rorschach’s journal reminds me of people who move into the flood plain next to a river or creek because they love the view (or because the home is dirt cheap) but then the first time they get flooded out they cry to the government (and anybody else who cares to listen) that they need to be rescued physically and financially.

    Ruff! wag-wag-wag pissss

    Baby! Goodness, what we have to put up with in this wonderful world we leave to those little ones.

    Listen, Blink-find, Daddy’s got a big job for you!

    Daddy’s taking you to a playdate with your puppy-pals Cuff-blinks and Green-splat.

    You get to speak up for us. Remember not to piss inside.

    Pisssss. Ruff?

    Manners, no risks around the ‘real money’. You play with OPM (other people’s money) and then we nationalize afterwards. Just call it the bad-bank-theorem. Understand, boy?

  27. Oops! Correction to above comment:- “Barrel of oil” not “gallon”. costing £1 million to reproduce from stock chemicals.

  28. Rorschach's journal says:

    @YC “So regardless which system in the end it all comes down on peoples moral compass. And when that compass is off you’ve got notin.”

    I was speaking to the head of the Zimbabwean central bank the other day about his grand experiment to make everyone a billionaire. The experiment was a success but the side effects were strange. For some strange reason the people stopped adequately feeding themselves and then they started growing various insane hatred for minorities, mainly white people, and many suddenly became murderously violent. He decided to classify this behaviour as externalities and continued with his glorious plan.

    Fish rots from the Head YC

  29. Youri Carma says:

    @Rorschach’s journal

    Yep, pretty much …

    Ofcourse you’ve gotto build in as much ‘checks and balances’ as possible but in the end, when people are corrupted that won’t work either.

  32. stacyherbert says:

    @Rorschach’s journal – wow, congratulations on being officially the dumbest person I have EVER read comment on this site and, let me tell you, I’ve read a whole lot of dumb comments here!

    They fight a centrally controlled economy to create a centrally controlled environment

    The ignorance is so breath-taking I truly don’t know where to begin. But let’s start with the plain fact that in order to ‘save’ the environment (at least the conditions in which human life can endure) we will need to DE-CENTRALISE the CENTRALISED energy system we have now. What on earth is more centralized than the US military and the OPEC oil cartel it monitors and maintains?

    It’s funny that most flag wavers think this same military is there to deliver them freedom just as those susceptible to Koch/Exxon/House of Saud propaganda believe only an oil based energy system is possible. They don’t believe in change, innovation or competition in this field for it threatens the very essence of their existence . . . and you can see this is in their wild anger whenever hundreds die in a flood . . . not that the people have died but that the facts are uncomfortable to what has become part of their self-identity.

    The hoaxers versus those who can see the reality around them is really just down to those who are susceptible to the oil industry propaganda and those who aren’t. The propaganda is specifically targeted to a certain group with advanced psychological techniques, so I wouldn’t really feel bad about it. But, rest assured, there are many hundreds of millions aren’t susceptible to it and so there are those aware and working toward decentralized local energy, agriculture and monetary solutions.

  33. Rorschach's journal says:

    I dont have time to go through your conceits Stacey.

    Ill just ask if declaring other peoples point of view as psychologically insane is something you learned from your soviet brothers over at russia today?

    The alternative movement always had enough of a righteous bent to foster future fascism. Intransigent thought is the nature of all cultist behaviour after all, lots of money in spreading cultist BS, crash JP Morgan buy silver for one!! Im laying bets as to which side goes full on fascists first.

    Never mind heres a video of a cat for you.

  34. frances snoot says:

    @You’re He

    What?I Why did you throw a brick through that house’s window?

    No, the term’s BRIC. My coin, my toss.

    But why did you do it?

    I’m intelligent, savvy, and optimistic.

    But the economy is in the toilet.

    No, we just need to gamble more. Look, Hail Mary and all.

    You never spoke to that woman in your life!

    Well, I utilized her potential. I’m a banker not a priest.

    You’re nuts!

    Look, I’ve got to make a flight and spread the good news.

    What about the repo market in Europe?

    We’ve got Silly String! Here’s a can. I’m off. Watch my doggies for me?

    Is Maggie “Daddy’s little girl”?

    Yes, thoroughly quintessentially ours.

    Yes, Quite.

    Yes. As always, tootles!

  35. ricin3000 says:

    Existentialism? Like Sartre? Please…

  36. ricin3000 says:

    @Youri, about the “best” money system.

    I think no such thing as “the best” exists. For one thing, what is money, what do you want it to be. Medium of exchange that everyone has short term? Fiat. Medium of exchange and/or saving for long terms? PMs.

    I say total complete paper fiat money, NOT chained to PMs or other stores of value. Liquidity is not value. Saving bank notes is an idiotic idea!.

    Now in monetary terms and also to reign the fiat currency to it’s senses if needed that would be issued, the PMs and other commodities — IF and WHEN in a free market, with regulation where needed can be parallel sorts of “money”. Coinage brings that in a very explicit way but some futures basket — again with real markets — could be useful too.

    Since PMs, commodities, coinage are then explicitly inside the private plane, I’d be inclined that fiat issuing should be a state matter. Usury-free, if they want to be a somewhat free and social sovereign. Just the foreign capital such a thing would attract!

    Anyway, just some ideas,
