Shark-cozy iz out. Flat-bottom’t out, like a catfish under a tire.

    Sarkozy?

Yep. Him’n Mare-call gone fritz. Like noon in Paris: no shade.

    That’d be midnight in Paris.

Not any moor. LIke kaputz like.

Well, I’m sure that the banks will sort things out as usual. Nothing to sweat.

Ain’t swettin’, but I do be bettin’. I am buyin’ more gold. Sum-body is going down, ain’t goin’t ta-be me.

Never mind: France and Germany had a ten-year plan going on with legitimate goals; and “civilized people don’t buy gold.”

    Who said that?

Someone with vast knowledge and importance: not your average Joe.

    Avarice-Joe got gold?

Well, maybe. But that’s all he’s got.

Waht more duz a man need? Hotdog, I’m outta hair. Goodluck to all y’all.

Hollande aint much differnt than Sarko. Politicians are merely puppets. Managed public relations “democracy”.

  3. F. Beard says:

The money printing can’t start cause France isn’t monetarily sovereign.

And the money printing SHOULD start but it should go the general population, not the banks.

Max, you should watch the company you keep. Them gold bugs are itching for calamity to drive up the value of their hoards. Disgusting and dangerous:

He who mocks the poor taunts his Maker; he who rejoices at calamity will not go unpunished. Proverbs 17:5

  4. Yeah, more of the same but in different suits, no doubt. But ordinary folks are making themselves heard – http://economicsurvivor.net/2012/05/06/political-change-in-europe/

  5. MirrorMirror says:

@Economic Survivor … Indeed , new suits , same people.

BTW …. would anybody here like to take the job of French Pres ?
    No thanks !

All the problems were caused by the corrupt Elitist Monetary System … and can only be solved by changing this. Everything else is BS .
Are there any Polit.Parasites out there saying this ? … of course not.

OTOH, it seems the Greeks are slowly getting the idea … but was still disappointed that ca. 33% still voted for the old guard. But hey, if they’re still getting those paychecks, I suppose it was to be expected.

    What’s next ? … Hollande “suddenly” finds a friend in Merkel ?
    Wouldn’t surprise me .

  6. MirrorMirror says:

    @EURUSD / EURGBP

Just watching … as expected , the knee-jerk reaction = the EUR falling.
Wanna bet that the EUR will strengthen tomorrow ?
…. Always bet against crowd-logic in this market !

  7. frances snoot says:

    For: Frankly:
    (Sung to that hugh-go-knot special)

What a friend we have in Mare-call!
All our sins and bonds to bear!
    What a privy-ledge to tarry;
    With our debt a’hangin there.

O! What pain we ought to suffer
    O! What crimes beyond compare

All because we do not square-see
    Interest bearing paper shares.

What a hope we have in France-like
    Dew upon the blossoms’ head.
    Rollin’ over the Titanic
    Trill-yuns, the decimal to spare.

Love and trust will serve our system
To prop up yachting parties fare.
To steal the water from the orphans
And silence angel’s wings in air.

  9. kdt says:

@fbeard how are they geting the paper to print it on with out stealing?

  10. Fraccy says:

    @F. Beard

“Max, you should watch the company you keep. Them gold bugs are itching for calamity to drive up the value of their hoards. Disgusting and dangerous”

I think you’ll find what gold bugs are itching for is a return of sanity, accountability, and morality both in finance and politics. This is not “rejoicing at calamity”, the calamity has already happened. A desire to hold gold is a reflection of that and a desperate desire for something, anything, to curtail the merry-go-round of fraud.

As for wishing for money printing… well careful what you wish for, and careful in what context (as in what financial system) you wish for it.

A worrying trend, austerity is now painted as the problem. No, the problem came over the last decade, and its causes and culprits already lie forgotten. There is no good solution now… just don’t forget the cause… oh crap, they’re forgetting already.

Looks like the UK will re-elect Labour next time out…..

    Holy fuck. (Proverbs 17:9)

  11. gordo says:

This is just more right wing nonsense. Every socialist government around the western world has totally bought into the neo-liberal propaganda that government spending is “BAD” therefore the new socialist government will sabotage themselves by following the “we must be fiscally responsible mantra”. This is NO change.

As Beard says France is in the neo-liberal strait-jacket they cannot do what is needed to fix the problem because only the ECB can.

So the right wing scare tactics are not even relevant, just nonsense.

Dollar Collapse my ass, more like right wing nonsense bubble up our collective asses.

  12. F. Beard says:

I think you’ll find what gold bugs are itching for is a return of sanity, accountability, and morality both in finance and politics. Fraccy

Good! Then read Matthew 22:16-22 and you’ll see that Caesar should be paid with Caesar’s money. And since we are all collectively Caesar then unless ALL our private money preferences are equally honored by government then NONE of them should be. And since ALL is practically impossible then we are left with NONE as the only choice. Thus inexpensive fiat is the only ethical choice for government money.

As for private money, people should be free to use anything for private debts.

    Break

    Kyrie, call
    A seabird takes wing
    In the gray dawn
    Morning

    Bracken my heart
    Thick with grief
    Thine the small twig

    Eleison, blessing
    Water and wine
    Gold the chalice
    Mitre of the Eastern Star

    Draught of thine
    Thou my hope, Christ
Who taketh the sins of the world

    Glisten like tears
    The stars laid like pearls
On the black sheet of heaven
Show true the path of the righteous

  18. Jayme says:

Unless continuously fed with new credit, the global financial system will implode. And when confronted with this possibility, governments will always respond with new credit.

Today the debate ended. France has elected a socialist leader who will demand an end to austerity. The head of the European Central Bank has accepted that growth should henceforth take precedence over balanced budgets, and Fed chairman Ben Bernanke has made it clear that he’s ready to step in with more easing if necessary. Elections in Greece, Ireland and elsewhere will solidify this consensus.

ECB chief Mario Draghi pushes ‘growth agenda’ (3May12)

It sure sounds like more printing to me. How many of these governments want to see a condition worse than Greece: “Dew upon the blossoms’ head? The easy way for the government is to print, “Rollin’ over the Titanic; Trill-yuns, the decimal to spare.” Then they don’t have to face the people with any difficult decision.

At least that’s what I read.

  20. Happy Dick says:

A lawyer once asked Jesus a question … “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” (Matthew 22:36 NIV). Jesus replied, ” ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments” (Matthew 22:37-40 NIV)

See where the world has gone wrong?

  21. Steven Rowlandson says:

All hail the gods of out of control government spending, borrowing and political correctness! Just joking.
In all seriousness out of control government spending, borrowing and political correctness is the only option on the ballot and the only set of policies allowed.
Did you really think those accused of austerity fascism know anything about austerity or fascism? All governments and very few people know anything about such things except what the media tells them and most of that is BS. Like the song says, we’re heading for disaster faster and faster. I will define austerity for the world.
Austerity is when you cut spending on wastefull expenses to pay off debts that are getting too big or if you cut spending to build a cash reserve for future spending or investing. Austerity is a good thing and a demostration of rightousness. Borrowing and not paying the money back to your creditors is evil. It is even more evil when it is done to maintain politically motivated spending on bread and circuses or dane geld.
Sadly people are spoiled rotten and never learn from history and their actions and policies end in disaster. Europe and north america will find out the hard way.

  22. evolutis says:

If the starting point is transfer of dependable, information to gain access to energy, then we are well within our limits and highly capable. Quite simply, this is the autonomous, environment of art and life … hardly rocket science; that is all there is. It is the absence of a recognized link between an individual and the obvious absurdity of simpleminded, monetized, state.
In the giddiness of the moment… an artificial agenda lurks, like $12 gun hidden up the snot, stained sleeve of a gangsters’ hoody.

  23. OlympiaLogger says:

    @Happy Dick

‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’

The word “love” there is, “agape”. In context it means to “walk in God’s commandments”.
Almost nobody is willing to do that. The Way is straight and narrow and VERY few will find it.
Having the very best intentions toward God and having all the Warm and Fuzzy Feelings in the whole wide wide world is not what that’s about.

  24. Happy Dick says:

@OlympiaLogger ,,, ” The Way is straight and narrow and VERY few will find it.”

no one measures up … The Bible indicates that our heart is central: “The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks” (Luke 6:45 NIV)

  25. peejoBOODLY says:

So…I’m missing the point. If they don’t print, you get austerity. If they do print, you still get austerity, it’s just wrapped up in a prettier package and reflected as a loss of purchasing power rather than a loss of actual money (er…currency).

What the fuck is the point to all of this? Fractional reserve banking, usury…they’re just the bitch offspring of bad math used to hustle people out of their wealth, and these are the reasons shits falling apart. Constant growth is impossible. Basing the money supply on this principle is either retarded or brilliant, depending on your intentions (I’m leaning in the “brilliant” direction).

Complaining about money printing, complaining about austerity…these are moot fucking points. They’re the superficial evidence of a much deeper, fundamental process that’s causing these results, so why not shine the light right on that process?

Actually, fuck it. I’ll continue to enjoy my sadistic pleasure as the illusion of capitalism consumes itself. Besides, I have little doubt that ole Maxy and Stacey are completely aware of what I’m talking about, and I imagine they have their own reasons for talking about the symptoms instead of the cause.

  26. evolutis says:

@peejoBOODLY … it’s called tinkering during the a crisis, partisans of the “hustle” you correctly identified. … they will see your sadistic, pleasure and raise you with the masochism of millions, world wide all, for a monetary religion that has absolutely nothing to do with promoting life. More and more people are thinking far outside the system and for themselves, congratulations!

  27. Eric says:

    F. Beard

And the money printing SHOULD start but it should go the general population, not the banks.

Are you suggesting that the Sheriff of Nottingham can be trusted to fairly distribute newly minted bills to the peasants? Francis! stay away Krugman. He will rot your brain.

There is no instance where debasing money is “good”. It is theft, fraud, extortion, taxation without representation and naked short selling all rolled up into one. It should be a capital offense.

  28. bud007 says:

although its pretty much fucking moronic having a socialist in charge, maybe there’s at least 1 bright side to this…..maybe finally one of those socialists will push some of these weakest chicken shit countries in europe into full blown bankruptcy wiping out all the shithead bondholders like goldman scum, morgens and all those other fucking banking terrorists ! ! ! !

  29. OlympiaLogger says:

    @Happy Dick

    “no one measures up ”

Very good. That’s the point to only the Elect being called forth and scourged or ‘forced’ over time to Conform to the Image of Christ.
All are desperately wicked and incapable of finding God on their own.
Only the Elect are called like Lazarus from the tomb not of their own will but God’s to be Conformed…
…BY God. The “other” elect are ‘elected’ to be vessels or wrath fitted to destruction… like the Rothschilds for instance.
God is here ONLY for his Wife, The Church and He will NOT live with a harlot. If you don’t repent…you don’t go. And you won’t repent if God does not CAUSE you to repent.
    Go figure.

  30. Tamir says:

Hold on to your hats folks: the French mega rich are moving the Brussels/Belgium…:-)

  31. Tamir says:

    @Eric,

“There is no instance where debasing money is “good”. It is theft, fraud, extortion, taxation without representation and naked short selling all rolled up into one. It should be a capital offense.”

    Well said !!!

  32. jischinger says:

it’s all pointless unless they arrest the crooks

  33. F. Beard says:

There is no instance where debasing money is “good”. Eric

So gold mining should be banned under a gold standard? Prices rose in Spain after South American gold was looted and so did prices in California during the Gold Rush.

SOME money creation is good. Are we to trust the mining rate of gold to determine the rate of money creation? That’s absurd.

Also you inflation-phobes forget that DEFLATION is a means to steal too.

  34. Bush = Obama = Sarkozy = Hollande = Puppet

  35. Spaniard says:

@ bud007 “weakest chicken shit countries in europe”. Thank you. I am so glad you did not call us PIIGS. You might come from a strongest, most excellent country in Europe.

  36. adampeart says:

    Is “Hollande” French for “Obama”?
He’ll fold like a cheap suit before the year is through. Has no one learned yet that the only way to find yourself in a position of ‘power’ is to bow to the slave masters.
