Winner takes all: RT Arabic now crushing Al Jazeera with high ratings. “I think that this is part of the post-Aljazeera era that we have entered.”

I think this explains the recent hit pieces by Al Jazeera and the New York Times against RT. They simply can’t compete anymore so they’ve resorted to slimeball tactics. Our show, “Keiser Report” is probably the most viewed business and finance show in the world with over 10 million viewers per week. Take that CNBC you ponce!

    Max and Stacy. You really need Asad Abu’khalil on your show. He’s the best Arab commentator around. And since your in the U.S.A…………

  2. ricin3000 says:

    AJ sold out. They did a horrible propaganda take on the “Egyptian Spring” then even worse with their Libya “reporting” and now going through the Syrian barricades. Al Jazeera disgraced themselves, they didn’t need RT or PressTV do do that for ‘em. They did it to themselves.

    Best,

  3. Simon says:

    10 million. Nice work! But, in all fairness, there really isn’t any competition for serious economic journalism.

  4. Building up a relationship of trust, as RT is doing so well, is an extremely fragile asset of inestimable value. If as sometimes happens a news story proves unreliable, then a rapid correction will maintain that trusting relationship unbroken.

    Aljazeera recently put their fragile asset into the tumble dryer with a load of bricks and switched it on to “BS” Setting!….they will need a lot more glue to stick the boken fragments back together again….and even then, Aljazeera will never look whole again.

  5. SAO says:

    RT does an excellent job. Very well rounded.

  6. Bruce says:

    Ponce is an excellent word.
    10 million viewers is a nice little bombshell.
    Congrats.

    RT will report OK on anything but the people that fund it I guess ;)

    I had a crazy thought the other day that those crazy money-burning KLF members should be interviewed on a finance show.

    Hip Hip Hurray for RT, Presstv!

    AlJazeera, CNN, BBC, France24, NYT, The Guardian, News Corp, Washington Post have a zionist agenda.

    They are all satanic propaganda tools.

  8. Terry says:

    The demise of Aljareera should be applauded by anyone of concience. The creation of fictitious protest movement video footage presented as coming from within Libya is an act so dastardly that a term “aljazeered” should come into common usage as the name for manipulation of the masses by propaganda so that men will kill each other.

    Who can look at NATO’s/US’s and the UN’s behaviour in the mid east, see the slaughter of so many innocents and not revile those causing such horror? I say only a mad men or one so low as to be beneath contemplation would do such things.

    The powers behind the scene are setting us and our arab brothers up as implacable enemies so they can profit from centuries of warfare, violence and hatered. They will laugh as we bleed ourselves white, they will live off our blood and the blood of our children. Do not let them succeed…. love your neighbor be at peace with the stranger and shun evil extreme men who seek to shed the blood of innocents. These violent men are the agents of mankinds enemies and they seek only profit for their masters. They are slobbering at the hand of their masters hoping for a few crumbs of the wealth (thirty pieces of silver and prominent places at the table) they are just dogs.

    You and I, dear, dear reader are the children of Heaven we share the consiousness of the universe. The light that shines from my eyes is the same as the light that shines from your eyes, it is the same “Im La Kesh”. Should we let someone take our blood for their bread? I say never as every drop of our blood is precious.

    Today I pledge to You, I will never shed innocent blood and I will shun those who seek the death of the stranger. Will you pledge the same with me?

    Aljazeera had their buldingings bombed and employees killed until they sang the right tune. Rt is in a different position Thank goodness.

    And also the discovery that Al Hurra was an America plot.

    RT is going where things like AFP, Can West, SBS did not have the guts to go. They got part bought out by big corporations, like the Rainbow Peacock etc.

    The media model is sound and RT will only grow, it is the only one of its type left. Dimitri Medvedev would be rather proud of it I would believe. This s the sort of thing extraordinary people leave as legacies, or as the NY times would put it “The Ghost of Stalin Looms over RT”

  12. Flopot says:

    Busily waiting for the closure of any US or UK based RT offices based on some lame excuse…

    See Press TV in London.

    Plus, Rory Suchet must be a Western Intelligence agent! ;-) I am joking. No libel actions please.

    @tom vuckovic,

    awel (that’s a foreign language) !
    This guy actually approaches 1 micrometer to calling Israelis (read: civilians) to be murdered. He also indulges in studying in Jerusalem after its “liberation”. Are you really into associating yourself with protagonists of mass murder? I don’t know, maybe you are.

  14. Flopot says:

    One day, KR might move beyond RT. In fact, maybe one day KR will evolve into a completely new format or “thingie”!

    Honestly, I hope to move on from KR one day – that day will be when the first real banksters are brought to justice and the knowledge of “rigged market capitalism” goes mainstream.

    When does hell freeze over… :/

  15. Flopot says:

    Asad Abu’khalil doesn’t seem to leave much room for compromise with ordinary Israelis – self exile for all Israelis seems to be his solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict!

  16. Danny Cunnington says:

    What Aljazeera has done is actually an international crime known as a crime against the peace based on incitement of lawless insurrection. By handing out smart phones to lawless gangs as in Syria is of course complicity.

    The whole of establishment media apart from Press TV and RT burn’t up nearly all their credibility over Libya. The last little bit will be lost in Syria. In my view RT has a fantastic opportunity because they can expand into terroritry with real journalism which is been abandoned by those who are only war propaganda and disinfo.

    Syria is been destabilised because if you look at a map, you can see that Syria, Iraq and Iran form an energy corridor to the eastern Mediterranean that would not be controlled by the western cartel. They can’t overthrow Assad so they are just going to bring a reign of terror ala Afghanistan (Why do you think the rebels are blowing up pipelines).

    There’s always only so many times you can get caught lying before nobody else believes anything you say and you start to become ignored. You can see this happening right now (CNN has lost half it’s ratings in less than a year).

  17. Tamir says:

    @Flopot,

    That’s exactly right. And this makes him, like too many of his “intellectual” / not “intellectual” friends a bunch of psychotics, genocidal, terroristic, maniac, crazed, Jihadi (his not into that I know, but is a huge fan of Hezbollah and their display of dead Israeli soldiers body parts on Al-Manar TV – did you know that Stacy?) lunatic scum.
    I am a little surprised you use this guy is being quoted her, to be honest.

  18. Tamir says:

    “I am a little surprised you use this guy is being quoted her, to be honest.” should have been “I am a little surprised you quote this guy, to be honest”.

  19. Flopot says:

    Older theories of conflict resolution (I know nothing of the latest research) suggested that divided societies can only find peace if it is in the interests of their respective political elites. Until you have that willingness or “coerced willingness”, the situation in Israel/Palestine will never change. This theory was applicable to “open societies”, not authoritarian regimes.

    As an aside, I wonder how the age of the internet changes these older conflict regulation models?

  20. Tamir says:

    @Flopot,

    I disagree with these well established theories about conflict resolution.
    I believe the only way to solve any of this mess is to do exactly the opposite: throw out the charlatans and the politicians and start meeting and engaging each other face to face – ordinary people discussing _their_ problems and how to solve them.
    We’ve tried classic conflict resolution for 6 decades and it gave us nothing but rivers of blood. In science, they ideas don’t work, you throw then out and start anew – period.

  21. Flopot says:

    @Danny Cunningham

    Totally agree. The MSM has totally lost its credibility. We know that the Western media now just pumps out neoliberal and neocon propaganda. We see our politicans continue to protect the banksters and promote their criminality; we see our states turned into police states overnight.

  22. Flopot says:

    @Tamir

    I like the sound of that! But entrenched interests are the enemy. Maybe that is how the internet can break down the power of the political elites amongst the Palestinians and Israelis?

    However, whatever good comes from the interaction of individuals, I assume that “emergent properties” (to nick a phrase from Steve Keen) from the respective national groups will always attempt to thwart community level attempts at conflict resolution, i.e. nationalist identities will always force people to conform when it comes to voting!

    So perhaps the real trick of the internet is that it creates new groups and hence new “emergent properties”. Maybe one day we will see a new shared outlook coming from the Palestinians and Israelis that will drown out the old political elites.

  23. Flopot says:

    “Aljazeera recently put their fragile asset into the tumble dryer with a load of bricks and switched it on to “BS” Setting!….they will need a lot more glue to stick the boken fragments back together again….and even then, Aljazeera will never look whole again.”

    Lol. Brilliant. Love this. Definitely a metaphor? (he suggested tentatively).

  24. Steve_D says:

    Max, the MSM is dying on its arse with its legs in the air inviting any passing tramp to come sample it’s wares.
    The old whore is riddled whith pox and herpes due to years of abuse from her pimp masters.

  25. Alf says:

    @Alastair C.
    Totally agree…Its no big secret, the truth is the most valuable
    asset especially in a turbulent media world of lies and deceit.
    Like in any relationship once trust is broken, its as good as over.
    …If RT keep reporting events truthfully there’s no problem the
    station will continue to grow and attract new viewers.

    Further evidence of the Arabic proclivity toward believing crazy and unfounded conspiracy theories.

  27. Kevin Eshbach says:

    I tried watching CNBC back in the mid 90’s and changed the channel shortly afterwards finding they were just as bad as the mainstream media.

  28. Peter Pan says:

    @ricin3000
    AJ is not a sell out. It was set up from the beginning by the British IS to bamboozle
    the Arabs when the time comes. And it worked. With AJ’s help they managed to bring Libya, Tunis, Egypt down.

  29. Flopot says:

    @Peter Pan

    Why would Western Intelligence agencies want to bring down a compliant Egyptian Military regime? Unless you mean that AJ was used to exploit the “Arab Spring” in some countries and neuter it in others?

  30. Joe says:

    A caller told Riz Khan and Al Jazeera what frauds they were, a long time ago.
