I read about this a couple of weeks ago. Apparently, the Parliament has given the TEM the go ahead. Can you imagine Congress giving the TEM the go ahead in the US?

  4. F. Beard says:

But who creates the TIMs? Does each vendor of a good or service issue TIMs that are exchangeable for an equivalent amount of goods and services from him/her in Euros?

    I wants details!

Centralised computer system? Major gives approval?
    No thanks.

My non-centralised Souvlaki world currency will annihilate all.

Wow, a new currency that even Beard can attest to. -Imagine that. You do see alot of barter proposition on Craigslist now. A great way to turn your backs to criminal banks and politicians. The Greeks are making their own local tax-free currencies and banks.

    This is a great lesson.
Don’t panic when governments and banks fail.
Ignore them and get on with your life.
Mostly, they are not required anyway.

An eye for an eye. A brick for a brick. But above all, the greatest barter seems to be a heart for a heart here! Really uplifting and hart-warming news.
