For every soldier U.S. loses in combat, 25 commit suicide. Tell me again why U.S. can’t open a Foxconn-like factory in U.S.? – it would add to economy (cutting need to invade countries) and cut down on number of Americans killing themselves.

    @ Al Kyder:-
    Unfortunate but true!

    @Max:-
    Don’t bother giving them ideas – if they wanted Peace the PTB would promote it.

  2. Jayme says:

    Only 2.2 to 3.8% of those soldiers who are severely affected by their experience in the military commit suicide. For all those dying, 26 to 46 times more are severely affected by psychological trauma and never integrate back into their community.

    The U.S. Bureau of Veterans Affairs estimates that ’131,000 veterans are homeless on any given night’, or about 33% of the 400,000 total homeless for each night.

    “Be all you can be” fighting meaningless wars for faceless bankers, isn’t all it’s claimed to be.

  3. Trefor Morgan says:

    This goes back long ways. Kipling was approached by beggars in Trafalgar Square in c.1896. The men were veterans of the Charge of the Light Brigade. He helped raise money for them and wrote his “The Last of the Light Brigade”. Fighting for the interests of the wealthy few far, far from home is never to be recommended.

  4. Badsey says:

    If the US put all the bankster/politician criminals in FEMA works camps to pay off their debts -you could easily see unemployment drop and GDP increase. You could easily have politicians make even more money off this banker debt/slave trade by having stocks/futures on debt/slave companies and even individuals.

    =the US already does this debt/slave trade with fiat money, taxes, police-state and the 1%+ prison system. Really a 99.999% system and elites are wondering why people exchange their slave debt notes for silver. Join the SLA and go physical -Tell The criminals you are not their slave anymore.

  5. Becky says:

    @Badsey:-
    Ur funny.
    The Gold & Silver gig is Very good to reset the system, and I am guessing there is even more Gold out there… but let some parts of the Globe remain “pristine”. But things could get so freaky no amount of Gold /Silver will help. So SLA by all means, Pray if it helps and vote these Bitches (sorry meant Dears :^) OUT!!!

  6. Bruce says:

    What surprises me is PEOPLE THINK THEY ARE FIGHTING FOR FREEDOM AND DEMOCRACY. Maybe their father or their father’s father died in some war, fought in some war, etc. And they want their kids to continue.

    Anti-terror. Now think about how many innocent people die over there and continue to. All for what? All for who?

    ….

    Who are you fighting for? What are you fighting for? Who is profiting on death? If these questions were asked and answered, the mindset of “fighting for my country” would vanish.

    Japanese soldiers in WWII, coming from a very constrained , “polite” society, often became very brutal in foreign lands. Is that what “Be all you can be” is promising?

    -look under market price and you will see gold is 4ppb (4 parts billion) and silver is 75ppb. We could enslave the fiat banksters and fiat politicians and have them shift thru the earths crust until all the physical silver particles were accounted for. These fine silver particles could be hammer forged into fine proof coins that the SLA could purchase as momentos of fiat criminal enslavement.

    -this is what the banksters are doing to the Zimbabwe people right now. (shifting ground for gold to buy food)

    I’m a vet, Vietnam Era, never saw combat, only a small percentage of military personel do even in war time, but the transition from being surounded by people your own age and only having to follow orders into amorphous society and haveing to find a job was difficult. Luckily the peace movement and hippy movement where going strong and offered an oppurtunity to socialize with others in a similar situation. No, we were never spit on or denigrated. That is a myth.

    The greatest thing I see coming out of OWS is the concept of affinity groups. It is providing an oppurtunity for vets and others young people to find their niche. Transition communities, perma culture and relocalization are positive pursuits. Protesting and and political action are necessary I guess, but were never my cup of tea.

    According to philosopher Philip Kitcher, the source of ethical authority lies neither in religion nor in reason. Rather, it stems from seeing ethics as a human historical achievement that we both inherit and expand.

  11. Kevin Eshbach says:

    @Max Keiser

    We cannot open factories here in the US because their would not be a reality tv show associated with it.

  12. F. Beard says:

    the source of ethical authority lies neither in religion nor in reason. Al Kyder

    Actually, my advocacy of common stock as the ideal private money form is derived from the Old Testament teachings that profit is good but profit taking is bad. Also, my advocacy of coexisting government and private money supplies comes from Matthew 22:16-22 (“Render to Caesar …”).

    The Bible is loaded with sound economics and ethics.
