In my opinion, Bradley Manning should have been on the cover of Time for person of the year. Lets not forget that the guy in Tunisia that caught himself on fire (which started the entire Tunisian revolutions and in turn helped to spark the Egyptian revolution) did so after reading Wikileaks information about the corruption that his governement was involved in.

I’m not saying the revolutions were because of Wikileaks or Mr. Manning, but I feel it was the straw that broke the camels back. And without those leaks, I’m not sure the revolutions would have taken place as soon as they did.

    Food for thought

Only nine states needed to ratify new treaty:

  11. snoop diddy says:

BOSTON (MarketWatch) — Only nine of the European Union’s 26 participating states will need to ratify a proposed new treaty in order for it to take effect, U.K. broadcaster Sky News reported Friday. According to Sky, EU officials are only requiring nine states out of concern that some nations would be unable to speedily ratify the document due their own particular constitutional and legal issues. The new treaty, aimed at shoring up confidence in the euro and the capital markets, calls for tighter fiscal controls among member states in response to the ongoing European sovereign debt crisis.

Talk about democracy in the EU, where not even a simple majority, let alone a consensus of all member states is required to pass a Treaty that will affect ALL member states!

I just wish that the Serbian government would wake the fuck up regarding the EU and stop spreading their poisonous policy of ”The EU has no alternative”!

Yes this soup thing is real. I cranked up my Crock Pot And made a thick winter soup from chicken and garden veggies. It was eaten by loads of people who said can I make more.

I can but to make a real chicken and veggie soup I need to start with a whole chicken including the liver and all the veggies. One crock pot is only 4 litres and the Jewish grandmothers who did this must have made at least 20 litres at a time.

It;s kind of tough to explain to Dutch people why I want to use “Parel grot`’ which is pearl barley in english in my soup. They stopped using it a hundred years ago apart from in something called “Karnemelk”.

“US court claims Iranian 9/11 link”

Well, they need a justification to attack Iran and they are pulling out the “9/11 connection” card, since they can’t prove beyond reasonable doubt that Iran is developing WMD’s. There is of course the matter that the sheeple in America are still sensitive about 9/11 and still think it was some Al-Qaeda terrorists that carried out the attacks, even though it’s obvious it was an inside job.

    “LOL ….. what’s another lie ….. on a lie … on a lie.”

They lied about Serbia, Afganistan, Iraq and Libya. Why not lie about Iran now, since the sheeple will buy everything their Commander-in-Theft Obama and the GOP nut-jobs tell them?

”Just too funny … NOT !”

I agree 100%, since an attack on Iran would start WWIII!

  29. Danny Cunnington says:

@Wolfer, You are right but I’m bored of trying to explain this in whole-food shops in Sluis.
I also don’t want to pay nearly €3,00 a kilo for it. Of course it is peeled barley. They use it for animal feed but it is food grade for people.

I’ve spoken to a local producer and I can get parel grot but they trade it by the sack load. It absorbs moisture and I don’t yet know how to store it.

The trouble with the whole GIABO thing is that this isn’t just about ‘banksters’. Yeah, maybe you think the whole globalisation thing tailed off because it lacked clear objectives, but you tell me what the clear objectives of GIABO are other than to ‘reform’ the financial sector for fuck’s sake. This is about capitalism. It’s about the military-industrial complex, it’s about US imperialism, it’s about BP and Chevron and Rio Tinto and the nuclear industry and Monsanto and fracking and overfishing and palm oil. It’s about the directors of every corporation being linked to the directors of every other corporation and then to the politicians, to the military, to the security services, to the police, to universities, to NGOs, to trade unions, to local government. I’m sick of hearing about gold and silver. Get a grip.

  47. Danny Cunnington says:

@Wolfer, Yes I like those plastic tubs and I use them for stuff. but I have to find out if the moisture content is low enough to be able to use them. If the peeled barley is below 10% moisture it’s fine. The problem is that I’m asking millers to supply me with something that used differently in animal feed. The stuff in the health food shops is great but it about 5 times more expensive. I’m picking up bread grain later today and I will ask again.

Pearl barley/parel grot/peeled barley is a basic nutrition staple of all soups and stews. If you can make large amounts of nutritional soup whatever happens your neighbours will not storm your hoard in a food crisis. It also can be used to make baby formula which is way superior to the crap in the shops. (The baby formula recipe comes from ancient Sparta where it was used to rear males with warfare strength).

The food controlling elite have phased it out over a century. It’s still there because healthy livestock is profitable but healthy humans with independence makes then nervous. That’s why is mainly used today in animal feed.

@ Snoop. Care to watch a live jazz music video? If yes, I invite you to open this link:
Money is God – Vili Ross (live).
    Here are the lyrics.
    Money is God.

We destroy, waste, pollute our earth. We slave and die for what it’s worth. That’s loony.
‘Sounds when I say: “All ye faithful, believe! Please conceive: “We created a god!”

But by building temples. Calling them “banks”. Donating our lives and give thanks, we worship money.

Someone spoke: “You can’t drink , you can’t eat, you can’t shelter underneath, a dollar bill, a credit card, a bank account or a dime.
‘Believe in Money’, is believing the lie the rich sell you to buy their illusion.” His words evoked confusion.

The man was accused of heresy. Tried and sentenced for blasphemy.
Standing under the gallows. Bound to be hanged.

Going back where all begins. Cleansed of his sins.
He reconciled himself with his destiny.

The hangman asked – tying the rope round his neck- :
” Before you go away; have you got anything to say?”
“Indeed.” He said. ” You just do your job. Entertain this mob.

But believe it or not: Money is God, created by the rich man’s greed.
Confining our mind to spins refined, thinking that’s all we need.”
    Money is God,
    Money is God.

    Money is…………

NEW YORK — In an historic hearing in the federal courthouse in Manhattan on Thursday, U.S. District Court Judge George Daniels said he planned to issue a ruling in the coming days declaring that Iran shares in the responsibility for the 9/11 terror attacks..

“The extensive record submitted to this court, including fact witnesses and expert testimony, is satisfactory to this court,” Judge Daniels said. The court “accepts as true” the various allegations of the plaintiffs and their experts, he declared, and “will issue an order” in the coming days that Iran bears legal responsibility for providing “material support” to the 9/11 plotters and hijackers.
Family members of 9/11 victims who attended the open-court hearing broke into tears. They had nervously sat through a four-hour presentation by attorneys Thomas E. Mellon, Jr., and Timothy B. Fleming, consisting of evidence backing up their claims that Iran had foreknowledge of the 9/11 attacks and actively assisted the hijackers in planning, preparing, and executing their plan.

    American insanity update

In November 2011, a Pentagon study team found the following 13 major areas of concern remained to be addressed in the F-35:[100]
The Helmet mounted display system does not work properly.
The fuel dump subsystem poses a fire hazard.
The Integrated Power Package is unreliable and difficult to service.
The F-35C’s arresting hook does not work.
There is a classified issue, which has been speculated to be about stealth or lack thereof.[100]
The wing buffet is worse than previously reported.
The airframe is unlikely to last through the required lifespan.
The flight test program has yet to explore the most challenging areas.
The software development is behind schedule.
The aircraft is in danger of going overweight or, for the F-35B, too nose-heavy for VTOL operations.
There are multiple thermal management problems. The air conditioner fails to keep the pilot and controls cool enough, the roll posts on the F-35B overheat, and using the afterburner damages the aircraft.
The automated logistics system does not work properly.
And the lightning protection on the F-35 Lightning II is uncertified, with areas of concern.
