They claimed that she was inside protesting and had come outside. This is what I gathered.

  7. Nak says:

About 1 and a half years ago I closed my BofA account, they were given me a little static and they wanted to know why I was closing my account, I just stated no reason, because I believe information is a powerful tool and I would rather see them destroyed without being able to make inform adjustments. BofA has a recent policy of posting an armed guard at every branch and my bet is they are more concerned with their angry customers then bank robbers..

  8. Skippy says:

Banker Judo, using their mass and instruments of credit against them. Please repost and ask Max and Stacy to put this video on the front page. This is disgusting what they did to this lady, she was clearly explaining herself and looked different than the crowd. Listen to the animated bears: http://youtu.be/DCB38wDHLWw

  9. Jayme says:

hmm – just received a citi credit card application. should i apply?

    Jeopardy Theme

That answer, for a $10.000 credit limit would be …. nope. Those scum bags at Citi have a binding arbitration clause in the agreement (like most credit cards do) which states that all rights to a jury and the right to participate in a class action or similar proceeding are replaced by arbitration. Hmm. My guess would be that the arbitration panel is a bunch of Citi friends who will in virtually no circumstance rule in your favor. Most all of corporate America would like to replace law with arbitration. No legal recourse for the people.

Binding arbitration should be another issue put on the Occupy* agenda.

If Citi is that fearful over a few demonstrators, you know that what Reggie Middleton said about their vulnerability is true.

  10. Nak says:

It was only a matter of time, criminalize citizens form pulling out their own money out of the banks.
The Banking system is a Ponzi scheme and one day everyone will be hip to the fact, too bad many are going to learn the hard way.

  11. SilverCondom says:

    @ Nak

I admire the way you came out giving no logical reason(s) for living BofA. 🙂

Keep them in the dark (when it makes sense). That’s what put them in trouble. 😉

    Run on the bankkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkks.
    That’s what we neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed.

Until that happens they will get away with whatever.
News gets stranger and stranger as time goes on.

  14. Nak says:

I saw this on jsmineset.com months ago. Now you got to commit an armed robbery just to get your own money from your savings account.

  15. Bruce says:

    Nak, great graphic.
    Sums things up very nicely.

  16. Warp says:

Good thing I closed my Citi account of ~15 years earlier this year.

    Keeping ahead of them.

I told the bank manager that I had moved on to a credit union and it had nothing to do with Citi’s customer service. I didn’t preach to him about TBTF. I closed a checking account, a checking overdraft credit line that they made very good interest on, and a credit card, all in the span of two days.

  17. Warp says:

That said, watched the video. Utterly shameful.

  18. Warp says:

Oh, and the Citi manager was all sad and pouty about it (me closing my accounts). Almost like his dog died or something.

  19. Randyrocker says:

By the looks of the video, the government can start saving the taxpayers money by downsizing their police forces and cutting back on police expenditures, from the looks of it there are too many police for such an insignificant charge. As for their tactics and manner of handling a mob scene, they need to go back to school and learn how to behave. They were worn to take down the woman without any reasonable charge, but then again because they’re the law, they believe they are above it, even though they’re all bought and sold by the politicians and the banks the politicians work for. Hope she sues them all for more than the bank paid for the entire lot of them. In the sixties they were called pigs, in 2011 they are proving they are exactly that Citi Bank barnyard pigs.

  20. Got Silver? says:

You may transfer your money on-line. I think that bank in North Dakota should get it all. It is private and needs no bail-out. There is a lot of new oil fields there and jobs.

  21. Jayme says:

I would think it would be an easy thing to transfer all your funds to a local bank or credit union that isn’t under fire by wire or check.

  22. Badsey says:

It almost seems like the police are looking for arrest-ops when the OWS ranks thin out. =Stay in very large groups and hold your ground. Occupy-occupy-Occupy. I would keep a 3+ to 1 leverage (protester to police) ratio at all times. 99-1 is even better especially with this level of police aggression/agitation.

Don’t let those vermicious knid police bleed out your ranks.

  23. BB Rebozo says:

If this doesn’t make people want to take their money out of a bank I don’t know what will. Maybe now we’ll have a run on the criminal banks. Great! Gold money baby!

Martin Armstrong, the last 10 minutes is where the meat is.

Main problem governments who build up more and more debt and never pay any of it off. So payments on the debt get larger and larger and they borrow more to pay it off.

  25. cowardlylion says:

I’m all for it but those two definitely have to work on those disguises. I don’t get it. I mean why bother if you aren’t going all the way. I kinda feel for these Gen Y zealots but then again no. How can you be that off growing up in such a police state. In many ways they’ve had it too good and their potential to make for fodder is high.

The elderly woman in the beginning, “but this isn’t Wall Street, this is Greenwich Village.” Oh boooy. Getting all local with the Citibank. Those are advertising dollars coming back big.

  26. bammbamm says:

Here’s the new deal. There are no laws. If a cop tells you to do something or not to do something, it doesn’t matter whether or not he has any legal justification. If you don’t obey the cop, you get arrested.

  27. SilverCondom says:

It is kind of frightening: I am actually planning to close my account at a commercial bank in the coming weeks. 🙁

  28. JailBanksters says:

  32. gold bullet says:

What you need is every VET, ex Cop and ball bashing Union Member whose had their pension stolen, and savings destroyed to face up to these cowards in Blue.

Show them what real dissent is. Lets see how these bullies face up to to beating up men instead of women and students.

NO COVERAGE in UK Press or media of this close approaching SYRIAN style opression.

The powers that be are scared shitless if this comes to the UK!

We are approacing a historic turning point.

Dont worry the Illuminati will provide you with yet another bogus President front man, to make you make you more FAKE promises, whilst robbing you and your children of your futures.

I hope for nothing, I fear nothing, I am free.
Nikos Kazantzakes (written on his gravestone)

Pretty clever move, as many people as possible to close their bank accounts. And a really effective way to fight the Federal Reserve Bank, since private banks are its shareholders (I expect Citibank is one of them, isn’t it?). Their convulsive reaction shows that they have been surprised. Cutting the connections with the oligarchy of money deprives it from its vital sources. Creating another currency (without the state’s participation – I think there are already such efforts), let ’s say a “people’s dollar”, or establishing exchange of products and services (instead of paying for them) could be the next step.
Greetings from Hellas to the American people. Continue the beautiful fight.
