Dominique Strauss Kahn Jibber jabber

Stacy summary: down in Normandy out of good Internet range, but the talk is entirely of DSK. The IMF are rapists, of course, so it makes sense that they would be headed by one. Jibber jabber.

    Well – if Assange is going to be charged and extradited to the U.S. on rape and treason charges it only makes sense that this IMFer be given the same courtesy. Maybe the U.S. politicians and press would suggest shooting him behind the ear, through his face, without trial and dumping his frozen dead ass carcas out in the water too? Maybe send a drone or two into france and shoot up a few towns just for the hell of it. Extrajudicial justice, U.S. style. Now that will THAT would make a real cook Diznee Euro Seal Team Sex ride. I’m sure TSA would love a role in designing the theme ride entry sluices fully equipped with naked body scanners and groping specialists too. (sorry, but the hypocracy is just too much)

    Greek Bailout Money Is In Jeopardy As The IMF’s Departing John Lipsky, Former JPM Chief Economist, Is In Temporary Command

    …. It turns out that the meeting that DSK was rushing to (in just a bit of a rush, without his cell phone), was a critical one for the future of Greece. Per the AP: “The arrest of IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn means a key participant will be missing at a European meeting considering whether to give Greece billions more in financial help.” ….

    Emergency IMF Meeting Begins As Strauss-Kahn Retains High Profile Attorney

    …. It’s unlikely that Mr. Strauss-Kahn can represent the institution during meetings while dealing with arrest and legal issues, at least over the next week, said officials. An IMF spokesman declined comment.” We expect lots of headlines over the next several hours as an unstoppable European default meets an unmovable chaos.

    Does this mean that all Greek bailout talk is put on hold?

    As a result the headless (no pun intended) IMF is forced to promote its second in command, John Lipsky, previously chief economist of JP Morgan, to the rank of acting managing director, even as “separately, spokeswoman Caroline Atkinson said the fund remains fully functioning and operational despite the arrest of the fund’s chief executive.”

    What is funny is that it was just yesterday that Lipsky announced he was stepping down in August.

    What happens to the world’s pseudo-bailout organization come September, when its top two officers are gone, is anyone’s guess.

  16. John Galt says:

    It’s an interesting point to consider that DSK was set up in this case. DSK has played a key role in bringing the SDR forward to replace the $US as world reserve currency. Could there be vested interests who wish to see that this doesn’t happen, and who could benefit from a sex scandal as we’re seeing here?

    Eliot Spitzer was also taken down with a sex scandal. As I recall Spitzer managed to tick off some serious money people in New York. Was it payback, perhaps?

    And who can forget Illinois Governor Rod Bogdanovich taking on the Bank of America over their decision to shutter local employer Republic Windows and Doors?

    http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=newsarchive&sid=ahDmj5UJtGd4

    Bogdanovich fired his shot over B of A’s bow on December 8th. The very next morning the FBI was knocking on his door to place him under arrest.

    Also a sex scandal was used to take down and discredit Assange of Wikileaks. The charges led to an arrest with led to a tracking device being placed on him. And now we have a Mexican standoff that neither side can win. Assange keeps his information buried as insurance to keep himself from getting killed. TPTB use the tracking device as a constant reminder to Assange that they can was will find him and kill him if the wrong info gets leaked.

    Going further back JFL signed Executive Order 11110 on June 4, 1963 which allowed the US Treausry to create a silver back currency that freed the USA from control of the Federal Reserve’s debt system. We know what happened to JFK less than 5 months later….

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ggADLt4s4pM

    Going further back still there are many theories that suggest that the common denominator of all assassinated US Presidents has been their vehement opposition to central banking interests.

    ION – Bt toxin found in human blood is not harmless

    GM lobbyists are claiming it doesn’t matter if the Bt toxin is turning up in people’s blood because the Bt toxin is natural, known to be harmless to humans, and has been safely used for decades in agriculture in the form of natural insecticidal sprays, including in organic farming. In addition, they say, Bt crops have been tested and approved as safe.

    But the Bt toxin produced in GM crops is not the same as the natural Bt toxin. The process of genetic engineering changes it (as is admitted even by the pro-GM website GMO Safety). And testing is not actually performed on the Bt toxin extracted from GM plants, which would be the scientific way, as it is claimed that it is too expensive to isolate. Instead, testing is done on Bt toxin isolated from E. coli bacteria (as is the norm for GM risk assessments). The protein would be different from that present in the actual GM crop. http://www.gmwatch.org/latest-listing/1-news-items/13142-bt-toxin-found-in-human-blood-is-not-harmless

    Disney trademarks “Seal Team 6″
    Ever since the May 1 announcement of the raid, much media attention and Internet traffic has been focused on the Navy SEALs counterterrorism unit, called Team Six. The Hollywood Reporter noted that St. Martin’s Press pushed forward the release date of its book, “SEAL Team Six: Memoirs of an Elite Navy SEAL Sniper,” owing to mushrooming interest following the OBL raid. The publisher almost quadrupled the original print run to 70,000 copies to meet demand. Scott Miller of Trident Media Group told the Reporter that he’s “already gotten calls” from Hollywood about bringing Howard Wasdin’s book to the multiplex.

    Is a movie in works?
    Disney is certainly covering all bases: Their trademark applications for “Seal Team 6″ are nothing if not comprehensive.

    In addition to “entertainment and education services,” they cover toys, games and playthings (including the legally all-embracing “hand-held units for playing electronic games other than those adapted for use with an external display screen or monitor”); gymnastic and sporting articles; clothing, footwear and headwear; Christmas stockings, Christmas tree ornaments and decorations; and – no doubt ideal for depicting raids in Pakistan – snow globes. And they’re not alone: MetroGames of Mountain View, Calif., this week trademarked “Team 6.” http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-31749_162-20062914-10391698.html

    Karl Denninger: Note: IMF Has Diplomatic Immunity

    Really.

    (e) The International Monetary Fund;

    SECTION 4
    The specialized agencies, their property and assets, wherever located and by whomsoever held, shall enjoy immunity from every form of legal process except in so far as in any particular case they have expressly waived their immunity. It is, however, understood that no waiver of immunity shall extend to any measure of execution.

    ….
    Representatives of members at meetings convened by a specialized agency shall, while exercising their functions and during their journeys to and from the place of meeting, enjoy the following privileges and immunities:

    (a) Immunity from personal arrest or detention and from seizure of their personal baggage, and in respect of words spoken or written and all acts done by them in their official capacity, immunity from legal process of every kind;

    hotel ‘sofitel ‘ is where this incident took place , the word’ sofitel ‘is not a real word it is an abbreviation of the words ‘ society ‘ + ‘ finance ‘+’telecommunication ‘hence the word ‘sofitel.’ staff who work there are told when they commence work orientation day that working in a hotel is all about creating ‘magic ‘ a bit hard when your job is about cleaning toilets and vacuuming acres & acres of carpet but i did my best . staff who find expensive diamond rings lost by rich guests are held up as heroes examples for rest of the staff to follow . i never found any diamond rings there but i found lots of mobile phones which i used to give to my boss a great guy from chile who took them home to give to his kids who needed them but that was a while ago.otherwise hotels like that use lots of silver flatware ,1,000s of pieces that are easily picked up off the floor ,kilos at time after a large function has finished

  32. MirrorMirror says:

    @Stacy … “Diplomatic immunity” .. thank you !

  33. Wolferl says:

    IMO the IMF and its staff have diplomatic immunity acording to the “United Nations Convention on the Privileges and Immunities of the Specialized Agencies (New York Convention)”

    But the US made some reservations in 1947 when they signed and maybe ratified the Convention. I couldn´t find those reservations on the internet yet.

  34. Youri Carma says:

    @stacyherbert

    Well let’s hope they are right. We’ll see ….

  35. Wolferl says:

    Hahaha, the US didn´t ratify the New York convention. So the IMF staff has diplomatic immunity status almost everywhere in the world but not in the US. And the “IMF Articles of Agreement” provides not an overall status of immunity, just immunity for certain actions for the IMF. Sorry DSK, you will have to face an jury in NYC.

  36. Sierra Hotel says:

    I guess right now people are weighing who they hate more/less. The IMF or JP Morgan. If you hate the IMF Strauss Khan raped her. If you hate JP Morgan, it was all a setup to put Lipsky (JPM) in charge of the IMF.

    I for one find it interesting that we keep getting these friday night news bombs and weekend raids. Can big news no longer happen mid week when the markets are open? I think it’s fishy because if the IMF can restructure Greek debt, that’s good for the Euro and Bad for the Dollar and I think this is part of a campaign of desperate measures to save the dollar at all costs. Rape is such a perfect weapon because it’s like throwing radiation or dioxin on someone. They are permanently injured.

  37. jodi boam says:

    This is getting stranger and stranger :)

  38. PO Big Time says:

    @Sierra : I agree on the Us manipulating stuff once again. Prolly the IMF was about something real bad over the us economy, what else to do than capture the ennemy on your own territory over bogus allegation, when they know you’re guilty until proven innocent.

    They realy needed him out of the way, or the masters of that puppet show just didn’t liked SDK disobediance over an issue. Only time will tell.
