    Great who will arrest him ?

    SHORT THE INSURANCE COMPANIES IF YOU HAVE A “SET”

  3. fromchaos says:

    Well duh. There is nothing in the Constitution that allows the federal government to compel a person to buy a good or service. Hopefully this will open up a suit to over turn Massachusett’s Health Care Law which has been disastrous for the commonwealth.

    On a side note the whole idea of mandated health care(constitutionality aside) without a single payer is preposterous. Without single payer it is simply a subsidy for the Health Insurers who have customers who are literally forced to purchase their plans.

    I respect Max a lot and he is dead on 90% of the time but I m not sure how he could support such a plan in the first place. I say this as a lower middle class person who is healthy but pays way too much for health care, there has gotta be a better solution then Obama Care.

  4. stacyherbert says:

    @fromchaos – stop making stuff up, Max never supported Obamacare; why would he support a law written by and for the same financial services industry we have been exposing as serial fraudsters? He doesn’t support the current financial services led US ‘healthcare’ industry either for the same reason.

  5. F. Beard says:

    Got to agree with fromchaos, requiring folks to buy health insurance is fascist, a government subsidy for the “private sector”.

    Nothing new though, we have had fascism in the US since 1913 at the latest.

  6. So I wonder if American progressives will now take to the street. Many progressives will consider this judge an activist judge I assume.

  7. jimmy chen says:

    @stacy

    dat yo man… you go

  8. stacyherbert says:

    @Dr. Richard Head – whether you agree with Obamacare or not, this is clearly a case of an activist judge; you could just as easily have said, “Many conservatives will not consider this judge an activist judge I assume.”

  9. jimmy chen says:

    maybe the judge simply understands the constitutio because he learned it in law school way back when.

    @Stacyherbert,
    We in the Midwest are looking at up to 2 feet of Snow starting Tommorow, I must drive to work Wednedsay Morning.

  11. jimmy chen says:

    @Illinois Brandon

    Herro hope good day

    dude, its global warming, don’t forget your bikini and lipstick liberal stick to beat down all who disagree…. that 20 inches hitting you is caused by humans activity heating the earth… carbon is so deadly….seriously , kidding aside, be safe

  12. fromchaos says:

    @staceyherbert
    I honestly thought I heard max criticize detractors of this bill. Who knows maybe I m having a flash back or something. If you say he is against it then fine. You would know better than me.
    I apologize and take back what I said about max supporting the health care bill.

  13. @stacy – I agree with you on that as well. I guess I should step away from the progressive/conservative divide, because at the end of the day it does no good and ferments more division among us Amerikans. I don’t know up from down and levft from right any more really. All I know is that you SOBs make me think and I am quite sick of this thinking thing. My head hurts from it. I need me masters to tell me to go buy a bigger house and to shop and it will all be better.

    Talk does not cook rice, but paper can make it more expensive.

  14. fromchaos says:

    @jimmy chen
    Not a bad idea but methinks they will just go back and craft something even better for their buddies in the health insurance industry.

  15. Oky1 says:

    Along with Banks Paul Volcker should have also added the Insurance Industry is “Socially Useless”.

    Nothing but Ponzi Scams used to rob society.

    Banks/Insurance Co’s all should be broken up into 50- 100,000 pieces.

    This whole system is fast approaching a total reset.

    I would hope when its finished resetting citizens have become their own banks & insurance provider on the local scale.

    Clubs, Clans, City States, I don’t know, but people have got to get their cut of the action/power back in their pockets.

  16. stacyherbert says:

    @Illinois Brandon – and you’ll still get snow in 100 years time for, with these sort of temperature averages for January at present, the state will still experience temperatures at which precipitation will always fall as snow even when average temperatures are a few degrees warmer; I’d note that you’re, in fact, likely to get even more along the south shore of Lake Michigan as the lake warms increasing the moisture available to fall as precipitation

  17. fromchaos says:

    shouldn’t man made global climate change cause polarization of climate, not simply a general warming or cooling?

  18. Tom H. says:

    All I know is that anything with Obama’s name attached to it is with 100% certainty, A SCAM!

  19. indeed says:

    If memory suffices, Stacy, I believe that Max said something like we should pay for healthcare for the “po’”. That’s how it was pushed into law. No bad feelings though, I think alot of people thought the BS would stop from the medical industry/welfare/Pharma cartel, and I was praying for that as well. I just don’t think that people know how bad it is in the real world.

    This law will only cause more pain in this country.

    I’m still wondering since it’s “unconstitutional” and has been “nullified”, is the SSA still taking away my so-called benefit? (I cannot, and will not pay for fraud since nearly 40 years of labor has been stuck into the pockets of the fraudsters). I’d still like to know if my home is protected from the fraud from the medical industry and if I can afford to get a job now, since I’ve been illegally fired for “disability” (which we can’t even define) without paying back everything to the very same insurance company for the so-called “benefit” that I’ve received (not enough to live on). Is there an employer who will hire the trash that’s left of me, without firing me for “disability”? Is the medical industry required to pay for the damage that has been done to me by the local pushers in the hospital (the FDA preemption prevents all redress from harm done by the medical industry)? Am I still mandated to take the life-threatening drugs that have taken my health away? Do any of these insipid newly created agencies have anything to protect a person’s life?

    How many lives do these vampires have to destroy to be satiated, anyways? (That’s rhetoric – Alex says they want to take 90% of us.) We won’t ever demonstrate in this country – they are allowed to take us one by one.

    Any way to find helpfully information would be greatly appreciated. Sorry for the ranting post, again. Just trying to find a way to survive and losing hope.

    Love yous both. Keep up the good work. Buy silver.

  20. Hill says:

    Being a diabetic and now living in MA, USA, I am appalled at having to now pay a state tax on medication I have to take in order to live. My insurance co. does not reimburse it and neither does the state. It’s simply a tax on a disease.
    I never chose to have this disease, so why don’t I get a choice about this tax? People w/o a disease don’t have to pay this tax. Fuck the state of Massatooshits and the scum-bag collectivists that run it. Burn in Hell!!!!

  21. Corey Wayne says:

    I’m glad I live in Florida!

  22. jimmy chen says:

    @Hill

    type 1 or type 2?

  23. fromchaos says:

    @hill
    The commonwealth of Mass hill have some respect lol

  24. Doug says:

    This was the right decision by the judge. He may or may not be an activist judge. He probably is. If so then he made the right decision for probably the wrong reasons.

    IMO, a great deal of the reason for America’s fall into Corporatism is thanks to the 16th Amendment. It gave the Federal government a power it was never supposed to have – the power to tax the citizenry. This destroyed the Federalist system and officially turned American into an empire by centralizing all real power and thus centralized all influence peddling and corruption as well. A federal government that received it’s monies from state payments and from tariffs and the like would by necessity be far more limited in scope. But since it has most of the money, it has most of the power, so the law holds little sway.

  25. allan says:

    Have the people that are so fiercely against the health care plan even read it. I doubt it.

  26. Tom H. says:

    @Doug,

    “…the Federal Judiciary; an irresponsible body (for impeachment is scarcely a scarecrow), working like gravity by night and by day, gaining a little today and a little tomorrow, and advancing its noiseless step like a thief, over the field of jurisdiction, until all shall be usurped from the States, and the government of all be consolidated into one. When all government… in little as in great things, shall be drawn to Washington as the centre of all power, it will render powerless the checks provided of one government on another and will become as venal and oppressive as the government from which we separated.” (1821) Thomas Jefferson

  27. Doug says:

    @Tom .H

    I agree with most things Thomas Jefferson said. However the lion’s share of fault for America becoming a Corporatist empire lies with the Executive and Legislative branches and with the People. The Judiciary shut the hell up for decades after FDR threatened to pack the Supreme Court with a lot more judges if they ruled against his New Deal.

  28. Tom H. says:

    The Government does not care about your healthcare. Obama care is nothing more than getting more cash to flow through Washington to feed the Ponzi Scheme. Because Healthcare contributes several trillion to GDP, they have no interest in actually making people healthier because healthy people would mean lower GDP. As a matter of fact they are killing our food supply and feeding us toxins thru Big Pharma to keep us sick and dependent on the gov’t for meds. Meds, I need my meds Mr. Gubmint. Anyone that believes Obamacare was for the people is a complete fucking idiot. If you want absolute proof that Obamacare is not for the people, do what nobody in congress did, and read the fucking bill!

  29. Tom H. says:

    @Doug, I agree, but was pointing out what he said would happen when the power left the states and was centralized in Washington, pretty accurate.

  30. Doug says:

    @Tom H.

    Where did all of that come from? It’s like you thought I said I was for Obamacare and then went on a rant. Since I said the opposite, I’m confused. What was your point?

  31. Doug says:

    Ah, ok. Well, in the general sense of course he was right. The iron rule of oligarchy pretty much guarantees that it will probably happen. That’s why regular revolutions are necessary.

  32. Tom H. says:

    Doug, that comment was not to you, just my general thoughts about Obama care.

  33. John Galt says:

    When are Max and Stacy going to admit they were had by the global warming fraudsters?

  34. Doug says:

    @Tom H.

    OK, that’s cool, it threw me though.

  35. SAO says:

    Does that mean the bit about the gold tax, is it null and void?

    Glad it got canned.
