You mean the White House lied to protect a corporation?!? Three quarters of oil still in Gulf of Mexico

Stacy Summary:  It seems the penalties for lying to Congress is still enough to force people to tell the truth.

    Last week’s meeting of 700+ scientists, policymakers, and concerned citizens in Chicago to discuss the science and economics of global warming at the Fourth International Conference on Climate Change was a huge success as measured by the intent of its sponsors: to establish once and for all that the climate realist position is increasingly the accepted conclusion among thinking people in the three categories noted above. That position is this: manmade global warming is not a crisis.

  2. Dedo says:

    Can’t post the link to the story,…….ahh well,..!
    I wonder why? : )

    That’s weird,.. the site I just posted,.is reversed,…couldn’t post it any other way,…
    How come Stacy?

  6. Palantír says:

    Humans are not involved eh? Climate change is not only limited to temperature changes, it is much more. Temperature is only one part among many other parts which in total makes up for the climate change.

    “Damaged Ecosystems Amplify Killer Floods”
    http://news.discovery.com/earth/pakistan-floods-damaged-ecosystems.html

    “Climate change may be playing a part in record rains ravaging Asia but environment experts say the destruction of ecosystems is more directly to blame for the severity of killer floods.

    Widespread deforestation, the conversion of wetlands to farms or urban sprawl and the clogging up of natural drainage systems with garbage are just some of the factors exacerbating the impacts of the floods, they say.

    “You can’t just blame nature… humans have encroached on the natural flood plains,” said Ganesh Pangare, Bangkok-based regional water and wetlands coordinator with the International Union for Conservation of Nature.”

    @Dedo – no, not a global warming as it is today (+0,8C degree in the last century) but the wild ones seem to believe in the “hockey stick” theory and if you work with that, any warming gets scary. Personally I see no evidence for it, we might add a new +1C degree in the next century but that is not alarming, nature adopts and so will humans and animals, natural selection still rules the earth.

  7. Dedo says:

    when you get to the site,..just pump :
    “Climate Realism: Not to Be Denied Any Longer”, into the search facility,and the page will be revealed (for the hard of thunking) : )

    Matt Simmons was 100% right ! May he rest in peace and get his revenge against these liars and these criminal bastards. USA is runned by criminals and terrorists. It’s not even a caricature. It’s the truth.

  10. Illinois Brandon says:

    Rogers Clemens was indicted yesterday for lying to congress about steroids. I would say at least 1/3 of the players in MLB were on juice during the 80′s and 90′s.

  11. Illinois Brandon says:

    @Marc
    More and more people are waking up. You see these survival groups popping up around the country. The Western areas will fare best rural areas will in general. Cities will be just hell! My hometown of Chicago is about to close one of it’s most violent summers in years.

  12. Marc Authier says:

    With 500,000 obs going down the drain each month in the USA, I can guarantee you one thing about the assholes in Washington.. Global warming will soon be of no importance when people start starving in the streets.

  13. Marc Authier says:

    500,000 jobs destroyed in one month. Sweet Jesus ! That makes 16,666 jobs per day ! At this speed in the USA you will soon beat Greece and their 70% unemployment rate. Good work Bernanké.Obanana !

  14. George Sign says:

    Global Warming is a fact
    Global Cooling is a fact
    Man-made Global Warming is a guess.
    Governments love the Man-made Global Warming idea as it creates new derivatives market and taxes the middle-class.
    As a wild theory I think you might find the floods in Pakistan are being caused by HAARP because they have stepped out of line.

  15. Marc Authier says:

    Yeah but is was a white lie. Get it ? A white lie by a black dude living in a White House talking about black stuff. Hey it’s humour. Anyways I can’t stand that prick Obama knowing he’s protecting BP and limited any lawsuits against these criminals. Matt Simmons was right. BP deserves chapter 11. The White House deserves chapter 11.

  16. Marc Authier says:

    @George Sign
    To tax people, people need to have a job and earnings. No ? That’s where the FEMA concentration camps will come real handy. Tax what ? Tax who ? Specially with 500,000 jobs dissapearing per month in USA paradise.

  17. Dedo says:

    @George,…All you’ve got to do is “realize”, that the managers of the planet (and they do exist),..do NOT have the best interests of the people on their agenda,….only then, will everything slip into place.
    If you’re one of the many (unwashed),..you’ll just step up to the pit, and wait for the shot, with that glassy look of credulity on your face,.. : /

  18. Marc Authier says:

    @Dedo
    Kudos to you. Bien envoyé ! Et vlan dans les dents ! Right in the smacker !
    Boy you know how to reply ! :)

  19. Palantír says:

    @George Sign

    why HAARP and not GOD? Or maybe the Elf’s?

    HAARP consists of an observatory and an adjacent 28-acre field with 180 HF (high frequency) antennas, each 72 feet tall, with a maximum transmission power of 3600 kilowatts, about 75 times the power of a commercial radio station, but only a tiny fraction of the strength of the natural solar radiation striking the same part of the ionosphere at which HAARP is aimed.

    You see, radio goes everywhere. There has not been an antenna invented that can transmit in a certain direction without an amount of spillage in all other directions (side lobes). Therefore HAARP can be monitored by civilians off-site, and educated guesses can be made as to the type of signals, power levels, etc. (it’s called “physics”). So far, no one has produced a shred of evidence that HAARP is doing anything other than what they claim to be doing.

    “What’s the point of HAARP?” If it’s not to wreak global destruction, what good is it? Communication and navigation signals are sent through the atmosphere for a broad range of civilian and military purposes. Guided missiles rely on digital transmissions which can be affected or jammed by a whole variety of natural and artificial causes. Global Positioning System and encrypted communications all need to be able to make it to their recipients in wartime, regardless of the atmospheric and electromagnetic conditions.

  20. Dedo says:

    @Marc,….Why thank you dear sir !,…
    (walking away with chest puffed out, mit cheesy grin)

  21. Dedo says:

    @Palantir,. Try not to misconstrue this comment,.. but how the fk would you know:
    “There has not been an antenna invented that can transmit in a certain direction without an amount of spillage in all other directions (side lobes)”.

    Are you really so naive, as to believe everything you’re told through MSM,.. hmmmm ,..I think not,…so why the silly comment?

  22. john smith says:

    Stacy, if your concern for the environment is as genuine as you would like us to believe, please research chemtrails and post your results.

  23. Palantír says:

    @Dedo
    there is a flip side to your comment;
    Are you really so naïve, as to believe everything YOU’RE told through various conspiracy sites,.. hmmmm ,..I hope not, so why the silly comment?

  24. Dedo says:

    @Palantir,…I do like to keep an “open” mind,..me ole chum!
    But I like your come back,…(lame) : )

    BTW: Pal’,…. I also tend to “watch” things unfold around me,..and quietly,..
    with a skillful ability to discern what is “actually” happening in reality,..
    For example: I look out the window, and see the sun shining. I don’t “need” some “expert” to “in/form” me,….you know,..silly little things like that!
    Believe it or not,..folk are being “told” that the climate changes,…hahahaha,…I know,…you couldn’t make it up : )

  25. Josh Fulton says:

    Stacy,

    Yet again, you are a hack. I have no idea what this blog post from the Democrats is referring to, but there are plenty of scientists who disagree with the idea of anthropogenic ‘global warming,’ including former IPCC lead co-authors Richard Lindzen, John Christy, and Nils Axel-Morner.

    Yet again, if you believe in the theory of anthropogenic global warming, please tell me why:

    * It’s been hotter than it is now for millions of years.

    * Ice caps are melting on Mars.

    * How a gas at 385 ppm, of which only 4% is man-made, and which absorbs only ~5% of long wave radiation (the kind that is reflected off the earth for the Greenhouse effect), supports idea that ‘global warming’ is man-made? …Again, man’s activity (which didn’t just start in the 2000′s) is responsible for only 4% of 5% of total long wave radiation absorbed. Water vapor absorbs about 90%, and 99% of that is naturally occurring!

    Good luck!

  26. Palantír says:

    @Dedo – that’s healthy of you dedo, but you know, some can’t see the forest for all the trees – they need to be told.

    @Josh Fulton
    On your second point about Ice caps are melting on Mars:

    Like Earth, Mars has seasons that cause its polar caps to wax and wane. “It’s late spring at the south pole of Mars,” says planetary scientist Dave Smith of the Goddard Space Flight Center. “The polar cap is receding because the springtime sun is shining on it.”
    http://science.nasa.gov/science-news/science-at-nasa/2003/07aug_southpole/

    Here’s an amazing fact: The seasonal polar caps are made of martian air that freezes during winter. Depending on the time of year, more than a quarter of the martian atmosphere can be found lying on the ground around the poles. (The atmosphere is 95% CO2; that’s why the seasonal polar caps are made of dry ice.)

  27. Mother Earth says:

    So in the US activists are slacking for not accusing Lord Monckton of falsly testifying..PMF project, let’s get going!

    But wheres the money going?

  32. Dedo says:

    @ Palantir,…Here’s a better explanation for you,..cause you’re worth it! : )

    To form is to shape. People are shaped by IN-Forming. Information is neutral, like law, neither true nor false. Masters of Gnosis dispence the sequences of directives which, in scientifically designed order, form the ideas, opinions and life, the beliefs, reality AND DESTINY of the receiver,…YOU. When IN-DOCTRINATION is complete you have been MASTERED. To “doctor” means “to fix” by a science or “Discipline”. YOU ARE NOW A MASTER-COPY, not original by ABORIGINAL. Original people saw things in entirety. Pythagorus taught a science of controlling the mind, by reducing all thought down to mathematical formulae. The REAL priesthood call this THE TRINITY. It’s as easy as ABC
    123

  33. stacyherbert says:

    @Mother – the Lord is not an American citizen, so I don’t believe the law applies to him in this situation; rather convenient I might add

  34. Fiatmentalist says:

    Max Keiser didnt lie to congress either, and he also stars in a movie that anti AGW (but that bit doesnt apply to him, its all about “getting the word out”). Its like Fox News innit, Media Schizophrenia seems to be everywhere latley. What should the masses make of it?

  35. johnny Q-pid says:

    You are kind of missing the point, I know everyone wants to believe that they are the change they see in the world but you have to recognize when governments and their sponsors are surreptitious guiding you and your money toward a disaster.

    We could have been off of fossil fuels 50 years ago, but now its decided that we must enact “austerity” measures for the good of the planet? Who suffers most? The middle income groups.

    Alright, if China and India are given developing nation status thus not obliged to pay enormous green taxes thereby giving China/India an unfair advantage in the market place (ie your mom and pops are put out of business for walmart, and no manufacturing jobs in western countries)
    then why are they surpassing the US in a few months for being TOP energy(that means pollution creating)?

    http://articles.mcall.com/2010-08-11/business/mc-business-china-energy-20100811_1_iea-chinese-officials-energy-consumption

    And finally, what cars and factories were the dinosaurs operating that caused CO2 levels to warm the earth so that there were rainforests and jungles all the way to either pole 300 million years ago? You notice that CO2 is the one thing you and I CANt divest ourselves from because we are MADE OF CARBON.

    This is about control, through regulations and through assets. We are being thrusted backwards into a neo-feudal serfdom and guys,we REALLY dont want to go through the dark ages again.

  36. Dedo says:

    @johnny,…..I don’t know,…….them thar dark ages looked kinda fun! : )

  37. F. Beard says:

    The Republican Party is scum, oil companies suck, Lord Moncton might be a clown, and some deniers may be slow in the head but AGW is STILL bogus.

    Lord, please send some cold weather soon to let folks know who is in charge and so we can united and fight our true enemies, the banking cartel. Yet not my will but Thine. amen.

  38. Marc Authier says:

    Oil depletion is no joke, Global warming is the joke speciallly when you consider that the clown scientists forgot to consider the impact and the influence of solar activity. Give me a break !

  39. daddy warbucks says:

    I wish you didn’t combine the BP news with the global warming, now it’s getting muddied

    Can’t really trust anything NOAA does/says. They’re constantly manipulating data. Now, don’t think because of this and the name of the link I’m about to post means I don’t believe that climate is changing, oh it’s changing alright. But, mother nature has had this cycle even before humans were around. And yes I know, the pollution we produce does cause harm, I’m not saying that it does not. It’s just that I don’t think it’s necessary for people to have to put their lives on hold just because of it, or refute back to a feudalistic lifestyle (having pretty much nothing technological) just because of it’s ‘carbon foot print’. I do however, think we do need to find alternative energy sources and stop using oil as fuel/energy source. Would be quite nice if the government and big corporations would stop destroying or throwing away these inventions people come up with as alternative energy sources, just because it will become competition with the big oil corporations. If this weren’t happening, we’d probably have a good alternative by now. Any who, here’s link I was talking about, oh and yes, attack away, call me what you will, but I already explained everything on how I feel about this whole climate change schpeal.

  44. TheFlyingDutchman says:

    I love the liberal dems who just can’t quit bashing republicans and blaming Bush. Its been almost 2 years now and for the first 18 months you had super majorities in each house of congress and got NOTHING DONE. If you say you’ve done healthcare with a 2600 page bill and Finance Reform with another 2000 page plus bill and think that government is your answer then you’re all a bunch of fools. Calling anyone who is skeptical of man made global warming a fat dumb republican is a typical progressive ploy and its getting old.

    But thats ok as independents like myself will vote everyone of you bleeding heart douchebags out in november. You fooled me in ’08 but NEVER AGAIN!

  45. Mike says:

    It’s pointless to talk about the politics of Climate Change as if it means everything if the science is non-existent. Do you really think the climate can be modelled in a computer? And used to predict temperatures a hundred years from now? Computers are not powerful enough and programs not complex enough to take in all the factors present in the Earth climate.

    They can’t accurately predict the temperatures 1 week from now but you think they can do it for 100 years?

    Govt’s are all about FEAR. Scare tactics. War ON Terror. War on Drugs. Deadly Swine Flu Epidemic. Catastrophic Global Warming. Need I go on?

    You two have really caught the wrong boat on this one. My advice is back out now. It’s hurting the credibility that you’ve worked so hard to establish. You’re taking the side of the financiers against the rest of us.

    Here’s a quote you might want to keep in mind

    Civilization, in fact, grows more and more maudlin and hysterical; especially under democracy it tends to degenerate into a mere combat of crazes; the whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary.
    H.L.Mencken

  46. Mike says:

    The consensus a few hundred years ago was that the Sun revolved around the Earth. Establishment scientists all said so. People that were skeptical were derided and sometimes and sometimes put in jail.

    Al Gore poured all this money into the issue when he was vice-president. It’s really no surprise that a decade later nearly all the govt scientists are now saying. They are paid well to do so.

    When he left politics Al started work on making money from the little scam he’d set in motion.

    Crony capitalism at it’s best.

    Another reason not to believe any of the propaganda and manipulated graphs and images and data NOAA releases. According to the ‘head administrator’ of NOAA, it is okay to eat the fish from the gulf that have been cover in the crude oil one week after their contamination period. But, since we are now in the neofeudalistic or I also like to refer to it as the “Neo dark ages”, the lords (at NOAA and any other government entity for that matter) are telling us surfs and peasants that it’s okay to eat the poison, because we’re (referring to the lords and elitist) not going to eat the contaminated fish, we’re going to be eating the imported expensive foreign fish, while you slaves and peasants eat your poison we told you it’s okay to eat. Aren’t these times so great……

  48. Awho says:

    Oh, and here’s another one. NOAA says it’s okay to eat the fish from the areas the dispersant was sprayed.
